Perhaps she might have said more in the privacy of his mind but Azreth moved then, stepping forward. The papers crunch under his feet as he takes a couple steps forward and she winces at the sound. She looks mournfully at the papers she's worked so hard on.

Force him to look my way? Give him no choice but to notice me? [Azreth laughs at this and he almost sounds human. Almost.] There's no way to force Zen to do anything! If there was, I'd have already found it.
[He pauses, contemplating Zexion's last words. A slow, evil smirk spreads across his face.] Bringing him the book? Of course we want that book but it is useless without the Scribe! Do you nothing of her or that book? [He laughs again and it is cold, cruel. His eyes betray his contempt.] Our little Scribe is keeping sec--rets...
[Before he can finish the sentence, Yuu-chan's blade has withdrawn from the illusion only to stab his sternum.] He can learn of the secrets of the book in good time. [Yuu-chan follows her blade. There are nicks and large gashes covering her arms, chest and stomach. Even as she speaks, they repair themselves. It is clear that the battle against Zen is not going well. She withdraws her sword, not surprised when he stumbles but his wound begins repairing itself.] I wanted to take a little break from the battle. Had I known you were so chatty, I would have fought you instead of Zen. [She glances at Zexion and nods once, tossing the sword at his feet.] Use this. His specialty may be controling blood, but if his own is spilt, he can't control yours. Good luck. [She phases out of the illusion, disappearing.]

Well, I suppose if you really do want the book, you had best start trying harder to get it.
[Once he's got a good hold on the sword, he darts forward. He's more speed than power, but the weight of the sword certainly slows him down a bit.]
