Perhaps she might have said more in the privacy of his mind but Azreth moved then, stepping forward. The papers crunch under his feet as he takes a couple steps forward and she winces at the sound. She looks mournfully at the papers she's worked so hard on.

"Can you not step on those? I spent the last three days working on them." She speaks as if she's perfectly at ease in the situation. Yet
even as she speaks, she moves so she's to the side of the desk, falling into an old antiquated defensive move. It's from an ancient style of martial arts, no longer practiced. Her teacher had instructed her that the art was to die with her. No one in the room would recognize the position she was in now, or how it could translate into at least five lethal moves, fourteen critical moves, twenty-eight bone breaking moves, sixteen other defensive moves and four regular moves. She glances at Zexion again.
[Move as far away from the orb as you can. If you can get out of the room, I suggest you do it now. You won't like what happens next.] He crosses his arms, his expression clearly saying he's not impressed. She glances at him and sighs. Oh well, she warned him. The orb begins rocking and suddenly it's rolling across the floor, toward Azreth. Azreth glances at it and his feral smile grows. He has a plan, that much is obvious from the look on his face. Yuu-chan can't see his face, however, as he's turned away from her. He stretches out his hand toward the orb and the papers on the floor catch fire. It's an effective plan, especially from someone who doesn't appear to think things out. The whole floor is covered in papers and the floor beneath is made of wood. The orb stops just short of the flames and rolls back to where it had been previously. Yuu-chan looks dismayed but it's hard to tell whether it's because the orb returned to it's original position or that all her hard work is going up in flames before her very eyes... Probably the latter.
Zexion watches this with mild disinterest. He's still mulling over the idea that he was asked to run. Before this all started, when they speaking, she had a chance to tell him this. Before their uninvited guest arrived, Zexion was there, observing her work, glancing over some of the book and chatting with her. She had her chance to tell him to leave then. Now, he has no intention of leaving. He's already made the first move to prove it, though it's not an obvious one since it affects no one else but himself. He tightens his grip on the book in his hand and he waits. He watches with mild disapproval as Azreth sets her papers on fire. Having been in her position before, he can understand her dismay over her work. He speaks up for the first time, voicing his disapproval. "It is quite impolite to treat someone else's possessions in such a manner, you know." His voice is soft, the disapproval leaking in as a mild reproach. Had Azreth attacked Yuu-chan with the fire, he wouldn't have spoken. However, he could not keep quiet after watching the days of hard work begin to burn.
She can feel Zexion's disapproval as well as read his aura. Normally withdrawn, his aura is flickering in and out of view now. It flickered at her thought of him leaving, annoyance laced through it. That annoyed her. She had warned him, he just chose to ignore her warnings. He hadn't taken her serious. If he wished to blame his inability to listen, that was fine but she did warn him. Still, she left the choice up to him. She was forbidden to give advice or instruct anyone to do anything, as it might affect their future. He was no exception to that rule. She also knows he's annoyed over the fact that she used telepathy. He hates when people touch his mind, disliking that they have the ability to read his thoughts. She no longer has that ability, though she once possessed it. It was taken from her during a fight. Dwelling on this will help no one, however.
She speaks up, agreeing with Zexion's reproach. "See? It's incredibly rude." She knows that telling them this will do nothing. They care not whether they appear rude or not.
"Azreth." Zen speaks up, not taking his eyes off hers. "Burn the books. Burn everything."
Yuu-chan's eyes narrow at this. She steps in front of the desk, shielding the ancient book. Of all the books in this room, it is the most precious and valuable. Even if the others burn, she cannot allow anything to happen to this book. "These books are sacred. They contain the histories of worlds beyond your comprehension. Don't lay your slimy, disgusting paws on them. Don't even think of touching them."
The corners of Zen's mouth curve up slightly, the movement barely registering as more than a twitch, the closest he's ever come to smiling. He's found her weakness, the thing to use against her in order to torture her. He can use this to destroy her fragile, human mentality. "Burn everything." He tells Azreth. Azreth smiles.
This gets a reaction from Zexion as well as Yuu-chan. His expression is darkening now, an angry look on his normally schooled features. He doesn't feel anger, of course. His face is showing it clear enough as if he was feeling it, though. Burn the books? Burn them? That is something he won't stand for. The expression changes suddenly, hisp lips pulling up into a cruel smirk. He doesn't need words, he only needs his book. They won't notice what he's doing anyway, since one illusion is already in place. He appears to be standing in one place, clearly visible to all, while he's really in another. Hidden from view through an illusion. As far as he knows, he's the only one among them capable of casting illusions. He casts a second illusion, making the many bookcase disappear, as though they are melting into the walls. Within seconds they've vanished from view and he hasn't moved a muscle. He won't go easy on them if they try to attack them anyway.
"Burn the books? Really now, where are your manners?" He replies, mild disapproval still laced in his voice.
Azreth looks around in confusion. He takes a step toward where he'd last seen the nearest bookcase, not minding the flames licking at his boots and pant legs. Zen reaches out and grabs his arm, stopping him. He glances at Yuu-chan before pulling away, his arm dropping to his side again. A not-so-subtle reminder to not mess around. Azreth, however, is more curious about the vanishing books. He wants to play and he's suddenly had this inspiration that it will be more fun if he burnt all the books.
"You should remain focused on your task." comes a cold warning. Zexion is eying him. If he makes to attack the bookcases, he'll open a corridor in front of him as an extra measure. They really won't like those corridors. The Heartless are so hungry, after all.
Zen glances at Zexion and for a moment, and for a moment, the room seems to resonate with violent intentions. The moment passes and everything returns to normal, or as normal as it can be considered under these circumstances. Zen truly is far more dangerous than his blood thirsty companion. He crosses his arms and stares at Yuu-chan. Yuu-chan stands in her position, suddenly relaxed, as if this isn't one of the top twenty most dangerous situations she's ever been in. In reality, it's number eleven. The orb begins to rock back and forth, the motion so violent it's captured Zexion's attention. Zen ignores it at first, his eyes trained on Yuu-chan but Azreth watches it curiously. However, when a violent wind rips through the room, Zen can ignore the orb no longer. The papers in the room fly up into the air, the fire going out as they become a paper tornado. The room is in absolute chaos. Clearly, something's about to happen, but it's hard to tell what or who's causing it. Before anyone can react, there's a brilliant flash of light turning everything white. When the light clears, everything's different.
Papers flutter down from the sky, some strangely cut in half. Most are burnt or singed from Azreth's fire. They float down, only for some to be caught in a playful breeze. The breeze blows them out across the garden. Some are scattered on the zen rock garden, some fall on the plants growing here in there, a few end up floating down onto the water's surface of the koi pond, startling the fish. Those that didn't get scattered across the garden fall into the room, or what's left of it. It's as if half of the room was suddenly cut off and taken away. It's completely disappeared. Zexion's illusion has vanished now that he is no longer here. The bookcases on the remaining walls have reappeared. Everyone is missing, along with half of the room and Yuu-chan's desk, however.
As to where they are, that is a different story. They are in another dimension, the dimension of the creatures who came to take Yuu-chan away. They're returned to their world along with half of Yuu-chan's room. Everything is settling as a voice complains, walking up to the front of the building. "I still don't see why we have to go check on her," the voice sighs in aggravation. "Just because Yuuko thinks something's wrong. Yuu-san can take care of herself."

So Yuu-chan has disappeared, along with half of her room. Had Watanuki been quicker, he might have arrived just in time to leave with her. It's probably for the best that he didn't though. Even if he is more magically inclined, Watanuki wouldn't have been much of a help in this coming fight. In case you're wondering, yes, this is tied to Missing. Missing can be read before or after this chapter.
