"That's a wrap! You were good, everyone," the director called out. The studio erupted with people saying "Thank you" and "You did a great job" at the same time.

Taisuke Fujigaya stretched his arms and sighed. Kitayama and Tamamori were taken to playing and horsing around while on skates, and soon enough, the rest of the group were horsing around, Taisuke included.

"Oi, let's all go for a drink or something!" Miyata said as he fixed his hair to the side flip it always was in.

"Nice idea," Yokoo and Senga agreed.

Fujigaya almost agreed, but he remembered that, today was a really special day for him and his girlfriend, Keisuke. Kitayama looked at him and Fujigaya was almost sure that the other guy read what he was thinking.

"Aw, good luck today, Taipi," he said warmly.

"'Goodluck'?" Nikaido asked.

"It's his and Keisuke-chan's anniversary today," Kitayama said almost proudly, like he was Fujigaya's father. Then he turned to Fujigaya again. "Have you thought of anything special to do today?"

Fujigaya shrugged. He and Keisuke had barely talked the past week, since they both have been so busy. He has been busy with the recording and shooting the group's new single, and Keisuke was busy with her studies. She was on her final year at Meiji, and, though she made time for the two of them before, her schedule this year was just impossible. Most times when they meet for lunch or something, Keisuke was visibly tired and sleepy. That was why Fujigaya was unsure whether Keisuke might appreciate a huge deviance of her time for their anniversary.

"Her final exams are coming up, and she's busy with her thesis," Fujigaya said, shrugging. "I don't even know if she'll be able to make our date later at dinner."

Tamamori sighed. "So what do you plan on doing?"

"I don't know." Fujigaya wanted to make today a special day for the both of them. Keisuke was a very special girl to him, for she was the first ever girl that understood his black moods enough to last two years with him. She made him laugh, she made him feel as though he was a kid without responsibilities of any sort, she just made him feel that he was alive, no matter how corny that sounded. With Keisuke, he wasn't Taisuke Fujigaya, the idol. With Keisuke, he was just simply Taipi, with his grins and his black moods and his childishness at times. And she appreciated that.

"What about fetching her from school and taking her out on a date?" Senga suggested. "What time does her school let out?"

"Six thirty," Fujigaya said. He knew when Meiji let out its students. "But, she's very busy, and her thesis..."

"You ought to take her to do something not time-consuming," Kitayama said. "Why not bring her some take out?"

============

Fujigaya held the plastic bag gingerly in his right hand as he fiddled with his key ring in an effort to find his copy of Keisuke's apartment key. Keisuke gave him a copy when one time he had to bring her home after she has fallen asleep inside the Meiji University library two years ago, and Fujigaya, then a graduating student there, had to bring her home. That was also the start of their relationship.

He was panicking inside. What would Keisuke say? This was pathetic. Maybe he shouldn't have listened to Kitayama's plan. Girls liked to be taken to expensive restaurants and given flowers on special days like this. They didn't like being taken some take-out from their more-than-frazzled boyfriend who hasn't even bothered to take a bath and freshen up before taking this measly McDonalds' takeout to her apartment.

But there was no turning back now. It was already 9 o' clock in the evening, and there was no way to prepare anything that might please a girl on this very special day.

When at last he opened the door, he found the hallway lights turned off and the only light inside the apartment was in the dining room.

"Keisuke?" he said aloud.

Sure enough, Keisuke was in the dining room, her books spread on the dining table, and her nose buried in a Biology book. She was wearing her glasses that made her look even more adorable than usual, but when she looked up, he saw that she looked so stressed and haggard.

“Taipi,” she breathed out. “What are you doing here?”

Fujigaya suddenly felt intrusive. She was so busy, he shouldn’t have come. “Um, I, uh…” then he held up the McDonald’s bag in his hand as he smiled sheepishly. “Happy anniversary?”

There was confusion on her face until realization struck, and she was smiling and laughing back at him. “Oh my god. I’m sorry, I kind of forgot about it! Happy anniversary, Taipi,” she said warmly as Fujigaya walked over to her and embraced her from behind.

“Care to take some time off for a moment? You haven’t had dinner yet, I presume?” Fujigaya asked as he pulled back slightly before looking at Keisuke in the face. He didn’t like Keisuke pushing herself too hard, but she has to because she was graduating this year and she didn’t want to be delayed in doing so.

Keisuke grinned. “Sure haven’t. School’s been a bitch to me for the last few weeks and this thesis is getting to my nerves since this morning and I haven’t eaten since lunch… thanks for bringing us food, Taipi,” she beamed again, then her eyes turned apologetic. “I’m sorry I haven’t prepared much for our anniversary, I’ve been so busy.”

Fujigaya just smiled. “You needn’t do anything,” he said as he moved away from her and proceeded to unload the bag. “Your being here - that’s enough. I don’t need anything more.”

Keisuke grinned as she put bookmarks between the pages of the books she has been reading. “Sweet-tongued as ever, aren’t we, Fujigaya Taisuke? Is that why the hordes of girls who go to Shokura are as eager to shout your name?”

Fujigaya blushed. “I wasn’t just sweet-talking, Keisuke,” he said, flustered. “I don’t usually say those unless I really mean it - ”

Keisuke looked up, grinning, a mischievous spark in her eyes. “I know, Taipi,” she said. “Don’t you know you look so cute flustered?” she said, shoving her books to one side of the kitchen counter to make space for the food Taipi was unloading. She reached over to pinch his blushing cheeks. “Seriously. People might know you for insanely hot and sexy Fujigaya Taisuke, but to me? You’re just blushing little Taipi. I’m glad to know that I’m the only one to see this side of you, ne?”

Fujigaya laughed as Keisuke retreated. “Yup, the only one,” he said, mock-pompous. “You’re the only one to see this side of me.”

“Good to hear that, good sir,” Keisuke laughed as she held up a cheeseburger. “Let’s eat?”

Fujigaya laughed as he held up his caramel sundae. “Let’s eat.”

It was quite a bit into their impromptu dinner when Keisuke regarded Fujigaya more closely. “Aren’t you going to eat your burger?”

Fujigaya looked up from his sundae. “Uh… what?”

“You’re eating the sundae already. Are you that not hungry to forgo dinner and go straight to dessert?” Keisuke asked as she balled the wrapper of her burger in her fist and reached for her own sundae. All that reviewing made her so hungry.

Fujigaya looked down on the sundae. “Uh… well, I like sundaes. Especially caramel ones. The burger can wait.”

Keisuke wrinkled her nose. “You’re going to get diabetes, Taipi.”

Fujigaya shrugged. “Don’t care. It tastes good anyway. Besides, if I’m gonna get diabetes, at least I was happy enough when I earned it.”

Keisuke laughed. “You’re supposed to be on a diet. No sugar, remember?”

Fujigaya looked at Keisuke forlornly, showing his puppy dog eyes. “Aww. I thought I could hang loose after the PV shooting…” he said as he put the caramel sundae he was eating away.

Keisuke clucked her tongue as she reached for the sundae that he discarded. “Poor poor Taipi. Nothing sweet for at least two months.”

“That’s where you’ve gone wrong, Kei-chan~” Fujigaya said as he looked at Keisuke with unreadable eyes. Keisuke turned to him with widened eyes.

“Taipi, if you cheat on your diet plan, you’re never going to lose the five pounds you said you wanted to lose,” Keisuke reminded.

Fujigaya moved closer as he lifted a hand to caress Keisuke’s cheek. “Who said anything about cheating on my diet plan?”

“Then what did you mean - ” but Keisuke was not able to finish her sentence when Fujigaya leaned over to seal his mouth over hers, in such a way that she just practically melted against his mouth. She felt the kiss go deeper, and she hooked her arm around her boyfriend’s neck to secure the kiss.

When he pulled away, he gently took her hand and lifted it towards his mouth. Pressing a chaste kiss on the knuckles, he said, “You’re the only sugar I need.”

Keisuke blushed when he leaned in again and pressed a soft kiss on the junction of her neck and shoulder. “You’re quite corny at times, aren’t you, Taipi?” she said as she felt his arms snake around her for a hug.

“I guess I am, don’t you like it?” Fujigaya said, straightening up to nuzzle her ear. “This part of me is for your eyes only.”

“Hm.” Keisuke said as Fujigaya kisses her again, and this time, she kind of tastes the caramel on his lips. And it was so sweet. She didn’t know if it was the caramel exactly, or if it was the taste of Fujigaya’s mouth, or if it was both. She needed to find out. She wove her hands through his hair and deepened the kiss, until she concluded that maybe, just maybe, it was a little bit of both.

Fujigaya pulled away gently before nuzzling her cheek. “I guess you won’t be doing much schoolwork now~” he said teasingly before diving in and claiming her lips again in a passionate kiss. “Happy anniversary, Kei-chan~”

OWARI!.

Note: I finally found the guts to write a Taipi fic. Normally all the ideas inside my head for a Taipi fic go over to the NC-17 rating because of the "Shake It Up" PV, but thank God I managed to write an innocuous one. XD I don't know much about Taipi, or anything about Kis-My-Ft2 for that matter, since I'm still a fairly new Kisumai fan, so I just made up random things about them, and also about Taipi's liking caramel sundaes in this fic because I like caramel sundaes myself.

And yes: I love you Auntie Keisuke (momohoshi) ! :*
Comments are loved! :3
