NOTE: Yama-chan, Chii and Inoo are GIRLS here... of course, Chinen Yuri sounds like a girl's name so i retained it... but for some certain reasons, i also retained the name, "Yamada Ryosuke"... you'll know why in the following chapters,,, and i change Inoo's name into Keiti instead of Kei..~

Yamada opened her eyes and massage her head. “that hurts,” she commented. She looked up and saw the she fell from a high place but she wondered why she’s not really hurt. She shouted for help but no one answered. She shouted for several times but no luck. Then she heard a groan below her and noticed that she’s sitting on Yuto’s stomach. Instead of getting off, she slapped Yuto’s face lightly to woke him up. “Nakajima-san… Nakajima-san… are you okay? Nakajima-san…”
“H-he-he-” Yuto tried to speak the word.
“he-what?” Yamada asked him.
“you’re so heavy, get off me.” Yuto requested and Yamada get off from him and apologized.
“Are you okay?” Yamada asked worrying.
“I’m good. How about you? Did you got the necklace?” Yuto asked back and Yamada nodded opening her palm to let Yuto see that she got the necklace.
“Yokatta~ at least, I fell for a reason.” Yuto laughed like he’s not hurt at all. “so, how are we going to get out of here?”
“I don’t know, the flashlight is broken and we fell from a high place.” Yamada explained. Yamada really thanked Kami-sama since it’s full moon and the moon gives them light. Yuto tried to get up but his feet don’t want him to so he fell down. Yamada saw Yuto’s painful expression and checked his foot. And there, she saw that Yuto got sprained his ankle. She told him that she’ll be right back but Yuto stopped her by grabbing her hand.
“Baka, I can’t let you roam this forest alone.” Yuto tried to stand again and with Yamada’s help, he managed. By walking with one foot only, Yamada helped him to walk by putting Yuto’s arm around her shoulder and wrapped her arms around Yuto’s waist. Yamada found a huge tree where she think they can rest. She helped Yuto sit under the tree and she sat beside him.
“Are you hungry?” Yuto asked her.
“Nope, how about you?”
“no.” Mr. Silence passed by and no one talked.
"..."
“anou, Yamada-san” Yuto broke off the silence and shooed Mr. silence away. He took a deep breath and asked, “ how come your name is Ryosuke?” Yamada looked at him and he saw the latter smiled.
“I’ll tell you the story but I hope you won’t get bored.”
“shoot~”
“okay, my dad told me that when I was born, and the doctor haven’t announced yet if I’m a he or she, my mom told my dad to run as fast as he could so that he can register my name in my family as “Ryosuke”. All along, my mom thought that I’m a boy. There’s an ultra sound but my mom persists that I’m a boy and the doctor is trying her best to explain that I’m a girl. and I think, my stubbornness came from my mom.” She chuckled and continued, “My father ran as fast as he could, and tada~ i became Ryosuke then the doctor announced that I’m a girl. When my mother founds out, she didn’t backed up from her decision to make my name as Ryosuke. And I grew up with the name, Ryosuke. Sometimes, she’ll dress me like a boy and cut my hair like a boy. Then, one day, I persists my mom to go to a certain place and I never knew that because of me she’ll die. Before the accident happened, my mom gave me this necklace and I promised to her that I will never ever change my name. And there, we got into an accident my mom died, I’m alive and keeping my promise to her.” Yamada told him the story and Yuto felt bad about asking it.
“sorry.” Yuto apologized.
“it’s okay.” Yamada assured him but Yuto can see that the latter is nearly crying.
“by the way, where is that certain place?”
“I don’t know. I forgot. I blamed myself that my mom died and after that, I sealed every memory I had in that place since remembering it is so painful.” Yuto heard Yamada sobbed and apologized again. But as the same, Yamada said, it’s alright. Here comes the silence again. No one speak a word. Only the sounds of crickets are the thing they can hear.

Yabu got worried since Yuto and Yamada are already late and everyone is preparing for dinner already. he called Yamada by phone but he heard Yamada’s phone rang at Yuri. He asked Ryutaro to call Yuto but Yuto’s phone is with Ryutaro. He called the lodging house to ask if Yamada and Yuto went there but the tenant said no one went to the lodging house. Then, he already got a feeling maybe something happened to them. Yabu told Keiti to give the students their dinner because he’s going to search for the two. Ryutaro saw Yabu’s worried look and asked him what happened and so, Yabu told him everything and promised not to tell the other students to reduce the panic especially Yuri. Yabu start searching for them and Ryutaro accompanied Yuri and making excuses whenever she’s looking for Yamada.

“are you cold?” Yuto asked Yamada when he saw her shivering.
“kinda,” Yamada replied while rubbing her hands.
Yuto took his jacket off and grabbed Yamada’s hands. “Come here,” Yuto pulled Yamada to him and wrapped his arms on Yamada’s shoulder.
“N-Nakajima-san?” Yamada tried to release herself from Yuto but he’s strong.
“Stay still,” he placed his large jacket in front of him and Yamada and it serves as their semi-blanket. Yamada can feel Yuto’s large hands on her shoulder. she then heard Yuto hummed a song, like a lullaby song. It calms Yamada enough to make her sleep. She placed her head on Yuto’s shoulder and it serves as her pillow. And Yuto rested his head on the latter’s head and it serves as his pillow too then both of them fell in a deep slumber.

After 2 hours of searching, finally, Yabu found a clue on where to search Yuto and Yamada. As he was walking back to the camping ground, Yabu saw a strawberry patterned handkerchief. He grabbed it and it smelled like strawberries. Then, there’s a name on it, “YR” and no wonder it’s Yamada’s. he then observed the sloping ground and saw traces where a person fell. He shouted their names but no one answered. Then his phone rang and it was Inoo. She told him that his students are searching for him already. it’s already 10pm and they’re already sleepy. Even the bonfire already ended. Yabu told her that he’s going back already then hanged up. He clenched his fist and walked away from the location. Please be safe, Ryo.
When he arrived at the camping ground, he told everyone to go back to the lodging house and take a rest. Everyone followed but Yuri didn’t stood up from her place.
“Chinen, let’s go.” Ryutaro pulled her but she still won’t leave her place.
“where’s Yama-chan?” she asked.
“ah~ she’s already at the lodging house. She’s tired so she slept first.” Ryutaro reasoned to her hoping she’ll fell for it.
“Really?”
“Really, now let’s go before sensei will leave us.” Ryu gave a sigh of relief then Yuri started clinging unto him again. When they arrived at the lodging house, Yabu told Ryu he already know where to find Yuto and Yamada. But it’s already late at night so it’s dangerous to go inside the forest. They need to wait for the sun to rise up again before starting the search. And so, Ryu needs to search for reasons again since Yuri and Yamada are sleeping in the same room.
Yuri went inside of her room only to find Ryutaro arranging the bed. “what are you doing here?” Yuri asked in confusion.
“I’m here because I’m going to sleep here.” Ryutaro proudly said it.
“and why are you going to sleep here? I’m supposed to be sleeping with Yama-chan! And where the heck is she? I thought she’s sleeping already?” Yuri is getting confused over everything and it’s just that time that Ryutaro realized the “sleeping-reason” is really a bad idea.
“because, Yabu-sensei said… that… he change the sleeping plans.” Ryutaro quickly reasoned again.
“What?!”
“Yabu-sensei said that, it should be still buddy-buddy system. So, Yama-chan is sleeping with Yuto right now.” Okay, where the heck did he get that reason? He thought.
Because Yuri won’t believe what he said, she went to Yabu and asked him if it’s true. Yuri explained everything and he somewhat kinda get it that it’s all Ryu’s idea. And so, Yabu told her that it’s really the truth. Yuri went to the door next to them and knocked hard. When she tried to open the door, it’s locked.
“why is it locked?” Yuri asked Yabu.
“because they’re sleeping already and they don’t want to be disturbed. Okay now, go back to sleep.” Yabu pushed Yuri inside her room. “don’t worry, Chii, they’re sleeping in separate beds and they won’t do anything ‘cause if they will, Yuto will be a dead meat.” Yabu patted her head and because of those words, Yuri felt assured. But as for them, she and Ryu are going to share one bed.
“so, why is it that, we’re going to share the same bed, while Nakajima-san and Yama-chan are having different bed?” Yuri asked again.
“ah mou~ Chii, you’re really full of questions. Let’s just sleep already. I’m tired, okay?” Ryutaro then lay down in the bed and cover himself with the blanket. Yuri in the other hand was stoned in her position.
“Ryu, did you just call me, ‘Chii’?” Yuri asked him again.
“Yeah, so what?”
“really, really, really?” Yuri jumped at the bed and Ryutaro faced her.
“So, so, so?”
“did you forgot what you said to me last year?”
“what?”
“that the time you’ll call me ‘Chii’ will be the time that you already fall for me.” Yuri said excitedly. Ryu really did remember that he said that and again, he cover his self with the blanket. “what’s that for? So, did you fall for me already?” she keeps teasing him and Ryutaro got irritated by it. Quickly, Ryutaro got out from the blanket and kissed Yuri’s lips as fast as possible then covered his self with the blanket.
“Ryu-chan, did you just kissed me?” Yuri touched her lips with her fingers and pulled the blanket away from the hamster.
“and so what if I did. That’s my answer to all of your questions, baka.” Ryutaro pouted. His face is as red as the tomatoes again then something came in his mind. “so, you fell for me too, huh?”
“W-why can you say that?” Yuri replied getting embarrassed.
Ryutaro got up and faced the blushing squirrel in front of him. he pinched the latter’s pink cheeks and said, “because you said, you’re going to call me Ryu-chan on the time that you love me already.”
Yuri looked at him and smiled. “okay, you win.” Then out of the blue, Ryutaro hugged her and said, “I love you Chii, and I don’t know when.”
Yuri hugged back, “me too, I love you Ryu-chan.” Ryutaro gave her a peck on her forehead and told her to sleep already. but before sleeping, they're having a sweet talk first~
Morning came but the sun is still not rising, Yabu rushed on searching for Yamada and Yuto. He already fell there not once, but twice, so he already knows the path. Tada~ he really found Yamada and Yuto sleeping peacefully. He then woke up the two and when Yamada opened her eyes and saw her cousin in front of her, she immediately hugged him and thanked him for saving them. Of course, why won’t he save her? Yamada is his dearest cousin and he’ll be dead if his uncle will know that Yamada got lost plus they’re his students. There’s no way he won’t save them. Yamada told him that Yuto sprained his ankle. So Yabu helped Yuto to walk and went to the lodging house. Ryutaro is waiting for them and when he saw Yuto’s state, he eventually helped him to his room. Yabu explained everything to Yamada about not telling Yuri and about the rooms and her things being transferred at Yuto’s room and so, before the sun risen up, Yamada went to Yuto’s room and rest there.
“are you feeling okay now?” Yamada asked Yuto who’s resting in the other bed she just saw him nod so she assumed Yuto’s tired. She also went back to sleep.
Now the sun is already rising and the sunlight reflects at the window which hurts Yuto’s eyes when he woke up. He’s looking fro Ryu but he didn’t saw him. then he heard someone got out from the shower but he saw Yamada just finished taking a shower with clothes already put on.
“why are you here?” Yuto asked her and Yamada explained everything. everyone is packing their things already since they’re going home. So Yuto took a shower and Yamada is packing her things. She then heard their door slammed and she saw Yuri glaring at her.
“What?” Yamada asked.
“Did Yuto do anything to you?” Yuri asked her back.
“of course, no.”
“okay~ I’ll just pack my things and I’m going to tell you something interesting~” Yuri giggled and went back to her room.
Yabu entered Yuto’s room and asked Yamada if she’s okay and the latter nodded. He then told her to eat breakfast since she haven’t eaten her dinner. Yamada told Yuto that she’s going down first. Yuto on the other hand is quite confused since Yamada is being nice to him.
After eating their breakfast and after packing their things, they rode their school bus and they’re still on the same seat. But, now, Yuto is at the right window, followed by Yamada, then, Yuri and Ryutaro on the other end. Yuri told Yamada about her and Ryutaro being a couple last night and that they even kissed. Ryutaro is trying his best to stop Yuri from telling Yamada everything and even Yuto can hear it. In the end, Yuri fell asleep in Ryutaro’s shoulder again because of the long travel.
Yamada punched Yuto’s arms lightly and the latter looked at him. he saw her bowing her head down. “what?” he asked.
“I, I forgot to say thanks.” Yamada said bowing her head even lower. Yuto smiled at her and patted her head. She looked up and saw Yuto’s dazzling smile. She felt her heart thumped and felt her cheeks burning. She gazed away and closed her eyes in the fullest since she thinks she needs sleep. She then heard Yuto humming a lullaby the same as last night and eventually fell in a deep sleep having a great dream.
Yuto felt a weight on his shoulder and he saw Yamada sleeping soundly. He didn’t bother to push her away since he knows the latter needs some sleep. He observed Yamada’s sleeping face and he can’t help but smile. She looks like an innocent baby when sleeping.
“Yuto-” he heard her mumble in her sleep. Yuto’s face is getting red when he heard Yamada’s soft voice calling his name. he leaned closer thinking that maybe he’ll hear more of that.
“suki da yo-” Yamada made a long pause. Yuto gulped as he heard the words. Is this girl dreaming about confessing her feelings to me? Yuto thought. Then Yamada sighed and smiled, “Yuu-kun.” Yuto’s eyes widen and he’s currently rummaging his memories when he was small.
“Suki da yo, Yuu-kun.” Yama-chan said to him with a big smile.
“Un~ me too, suki da yo, Yama-chan,” Yuto replied to the latter. But the love he felt that time is because of their friendship.
Yuto never thought that someone can say the exact same thing his Yama-chan told him. no one called him Yuu-kun. It’s only his Yama-chan who can call him that. On the second thought, maybe Yamada is dreaming about someone else. But in such all coincidences, Yamada said, “Yuu-kun.” Plus, the way the latter said is the same as his Yama-chan and she’s a Yamada and her friends called her Yama-chan. Could it be that the place that Yamada doesn’t want to remember is Aomori? But she’s a girl. but then again, she once said that her mom dressed him as a guy. Yuto feels his head is spinning thinking about every possibilities that maybe, maybe, this Yamada Yamada is his Yama-chan.

Ryutaro got up and faced the blushing squirrel in front of him. he pinched the latter’s pink cheeks and said, “because you said, you’re going to call me Ryu-chan on the time that you love me already.”
Yuri looked at him and smiled. “okay, you win.” Then out of the blue, Ryutaro hugged her and said, “I love you Chii, and I don’t know when.”
Yuri hugged back, “me too, I love you Ryu-chan.” Ryutaro gave her a peck on her forehead and told her to sleep already. but before sleeping, they're having a sweet talk first~
Morning came but the sun is still not rising, Yabu rushed on searching for Yamada and Yuto. He already fell there not once, but twice, so he already knows the path. Tada~ he really found Yamada and Yuto sleeping peacefully. He then woke up the two and when Yamada opened her eyes and saw her cousin in front of her, she immediately hugged him and thanked him for saving them. Of course, why won’t he save her? Yamada is his dearest cousin and he’ll be dead if his uncle will know that Yamada got lost plus they’re his students. There’s no way he won’t save them. Yamada told him that Yuto sprained his ankle. So Yabu helped Yuto to walk and went to the lodging house. Ryutaro is waiting for them and when he saw Yuto’s state, he eventually helped him to his room. Yabu explained everything to Yamada about not telling Yuri and about the rooms and her things being transferred at Yuto’s room and so, before the sun risen up, Yamada went to Yuto’s room and rest there.
“are you feeling okay now?” Yamada asked Yuto who’s resting in the other bed she just saw him nod so she assumed Yuto’s tired. She also went back to sleep.
Now the sun is already rising and the sunlight reflects at the window which hurts Yuto’s eyes when he woke up. He’s looking fro Ryu but he didn’t saw him. then he heard someone got out from the shower but he saw Yamada just finished taking a shower with clothes already put on.
“why are you here?” Yuto asked her and Yamada explained everything. everyone is packing their things already since they’re going home. So Yuto took a shower and Yamada is packing her things. She then heard their door slammed and she saw Yuri glaring at her.
“What?” Yamada asked.
“Did Yuto do anything to you?” Yuri asked her back.
“of course, no.”
“okay~ I’ll just pack my things and I’m going to tell you something interesting~” Yuri giggled and went back to her room.
Yabu entered Yuto’s room and asked Yamada if she’s okay and the latter nodded. He then told her to eat breakfast since she haven’t eaten her dinner. Yamada told Yuto that she’s going down first. Yuto on the other hand is quite confused since Yamada is being nice to him.
After eating their breakfast and after packing their things, they rode their school bus and they’re still on the same seat. But, now, Yuto is at the right window, followed by Yamada, then, Yuri and Ryutaro on the other end. Yuri told Yamada about her and Ryutaro being a couple last night and that they even kissed. Ryutaro is trying his best to stop Yuri from telling Yamada everything and even Yuto can hear it. In the end, Yuri fell asleep in Ryutaro’s shoulder again because of the long travel.
Yamada punched Yuto’s arms lightly and the latter looked at him. he saw her bowing her head down. “what?” he asked.
“I, I forgot to say thanks.” Yamada said bowing her head even lower. Yuto smiled at her and patted her head. She looked up and saw Yuto’s dazzling smile. She felt her heart thumped and felt her cheeks burning. She gazed away and closed her eyes in the fullest since she thinks she needs sleep. She then heard Yuto humming a lullaby the same as last night and eventually fell in a deep sleep having a great dream.
Yuto felt a weight on his shoulder and he saw Yamada sleeping soundly. He didn’t bother to push her away since he knows the latter needs some sleep. He observed Yamada’s sleeping face and he can’t help but smile. She looks like an innocent baby when sleeping.
“Yuto-” he heard her mumble in her sleep. Yuto’s face is getting red when he heard Yamada’s soft voice calling his name. he leaned closer thinking that maybe he’ll hear more of that.
“suki da yo-” Yamada made a long pause. Yuto gulped as he heard the words. Is this girl dreaming about confessing her feelings to me? Yuto thought. Then Yamada sighed and smiled, “Yuu-kun.” Yuto’s eyes widen and he’s currently rummaging his memories when he was small.
“Suki da yo, Yuu-kun.” Yama-chan said to him with a big smile.
“Un~ me too, suki da yo, Yama-chan,” Yuto replied to the latter. But the love he felt that time is because of their friendship.
Yuto never thought that someone can say the exact same thing his Yama-chan told him. no one called him Yuu-kun. It’s only his Yama-chan who can call him that. On the second thought, maybe Yamada is dreaming about someone else. But in such all coincidences, Yamada said, “Yuu-kun.” Plus, the way the latter said is the same as his Yama-chan and she’s a Yamada and her friends called her Yama-chan. Could it be that the place that Yamada doesn’t want to remember is Aomori? But she’s a girl. but then again, she once said that her mom dressed him as a guy. Yuto feels his head is spinning thinking about every possibilities that maybe, maybe, this Yamada Yamada is his Yama-chan.
