NOTE: Yama-chan, Chii and Inoo are GIRLS here... of course, Chinen Yuri sounds like a girl's name so i retained it... but for some certain reasons, i also retained the name, "Yamada Ryosuke"... you'll know why in the following chapters,,, and i change Inoo's name into Keiti instead of Kei..~

The day of their camp arrived. Everyone in the class gathered at their school gate waiting for Yabu who arrived exactly 7am while the students arrived around 6:30 am afraid being left by the school bus. Yabu told them that they’re going to Shimane for their camp. it’ll be a long travel but they’re going to have few stops for eating their breakfast and buy some snacks. The students went in the bus and chose their seats. Yuto, Ryutaro, Ryosuke and Yuri are seating at the very back of the bus.
As the bus is travelling to Shimane, they stopped for a while in a small restaurant and ate breakfast. After that, they continued their travel. Some students are being noisy, laughing here and there, talking here and there, and it irritates Ryu the most. He took his Ipod and plunge the earphones in his ear, took his DS and play. Then suddenly, Ryutaro felt a weight in his shoulder and saw Yuri sleeping. He tried many times to push Yuri’s head away from him, but Yuri still put her head in Ryu’s shoulder. Ryosuke is listening to her I-pod in a max volume and sleeping tightly with his head tilting in the window of the bus. Yuto on the other hand is enjoying his self since it’ll be his first time going to Shimane.
Because of the sudden stop of the bus, they all swing forward and those who are sleeping woke up except to the little squirrel who’s currently clinging to Ryu’s shirt. Ryosuke woke up and saw Yuto laughing on Ryutaro who’s trying his best to escape Yuri. Since that day, Ryosuke can’t even glare at Yuto now. She always feels a thump in her heart and uneasiness whenever she looks at Yuto that made her more confused. She hasn’t felt something like this before and she doesn’t know what it’s called. Her glares ended up into stares. Soft stares where she seems looking for something on Yuto. Even Yuto felt that it’s new for Ryosuke not to glare at her but her stares drives him mad. If sometimes, he can look back at Ryosuke, now, he can’t even face her stares.
Few hours later, they arrived in their camping spot. Yuri woke up and said her thanks to Ryu for lending his shoulder and went out of the bus, followed by Ryosuke then Ryutaro and Yuto who’s massaging Ryutaro’s shoulder. After they went out, they took their luggage at the bus’ compartment then Yabu gave instructions again.
“For our camp, we always have this buddy-buddy system, right? So, all you need to do, is pick one paper in this box. There are 40 of you in class, so there’ll be 20 pairs. Whoever have the same number will be the pairs. So, go and pick one.” Yabu said and held the small box in front of him. each one of the students pick one paper.
“Okay, line up from here. ONE!” the students with numbers “one” went to the spot pointed by Yabu followed by 2, 3, and 4.
“who could be my partner?” Ryosuke muttered when she heard “four”. As she go to the spot, her blood is boiling seeing her partner is Yuto. “you must be kidding, right?” Ryosuke asked Yuto who’s standing infront of him. Yabu on the other hand kept calling the numbers and when it reached “8”, Yuri and Ryutaro are the pair.
“look,” Yuto gave his paper to Ryosuke and let the latter look clearly that he got number 4.
“You exchange it, right?” Ryosuke asked him in a suspicious tone.
“And why would I? If I’m going to exchange my number I prefer to exchange it to someone who got the same number as Ryu.” Yuto defended his self and the latter got annoyed again.
Yabu finished calling out all the numbers and instructed them to put their things in the lodging house. Yabu led the way then Ryosuke ran to him and grab his shirt.
“Nii-chan! You already know that I want to be with Yuri. What’s with this random choosing of partners?” Ryosuke complained.
“Ryo, it’s better to know other people, other than Ryu or Yuki. Besides, you got an amazing partner.” Yabu patted Ryosuke’s head and he saw her pout. “What?” he laughed.
“Amazing, you say? I totally hate that guy, why will it be amazing?” she’s still pouting and Yabu find it very cute.
“It’s rare to see you pout like that.” Yabu laughed again and earned a glare from Ryosuke.
When they arrived at the lodging house, they looked at the list in front of it to see who will share a room. Yuri is with Ryosuke and Yuto is with Ryutaro. Ryosuke thought at least, she’s with Yuri in the same room. If not, she’ll definitely kill her cousin.
The girls are cooking for lunch and the guys are searching for branches of trees to be used in their bonfire in the evening. They had their lunch in the camping ground 1 kilometer away from the lodging house. The girls spread 2 cloths in the ground and put their cooked lunch and ate there. After their lunch, they explore the spooky forest with the lead of Yabu-sensei in a buddy-buddy system so, Yuri is with Ryu and Ryosuke is with Yuto. Yuri’s left arm is wrapped around Ryu’s right arm and her right hand is clinging in Ryu’s shirt. The fog in the forest is making her nervous plus her imagination of monsters makes it worst.
Ryosuke is being calm since she won’t let Yuto see that she’s scared. “You’re not like the other girls, huh? You’re not scared?” Yuto asked.
“Of course, no. if I am, I’m already clinging onto you right now.” Ryosuke said bravely but her insides are already in panic since she’s really scared as the forest’s fog gets darker. “What’s with these fogs?” she complained in a nervous way. Yuto chuckled when he heard Ryosuke. He’s definitely right. She’s scared.
“Ah! Snake!” Yuto told her pointing in a thing where the body is in S-Form.
“KYAAAAAAA!!” Ryosuke shouted and unconsciously hugged Yuto but her shout made everyone look at her.
“Doushita?” Yabu asked.
“nothing sensei. Yamada-san thought that the rope is a snake.” Yuto is holding his self not to laugh. Ryosuke looked at him when she heard him say, “rope”.
“Souka~ let’s continue our walk then. We’re nearly at the end.” Yabu told the students.
“Yama-chan, daijoubu?” Yuri asked her and Ryosuke nodded. She and Ryu continued their walk.
“Rope?” Ryosuke asked Yuto.
“Yup, it’s just a rope.” Yuto gave off a small laugh but stopped his self not to laugh.
“are you teasing me?”
“obviously, yes.”
“and why?” Ryosuke raised an eyebrow.
“it’s because you’re acting brave even though you’re not.” Yuto chuckled and looked at the latter who glared at him in annoyance. He then noticed that Ryosuke is still hugging him and it made him red. “Yamada-san…” Yuto said getting embarrassed.
“What?” Ryosuke asked angrily.
“will you, let go of me, please?” Yuto pleaded and Ryosuke finally realized that she’s still hugging him. she let go of him and act as if nothing happened. When they reached the end of the forest, they saw a very nice place. It’s a very silent place with a small lake at the center. The warm wind that blows makes you feel calm that even the annoyance that Ryosuke felt wavers. All gasped saying, “sugoi~” “kakkoi” “ii ne~” because of the beautiful scenery that they’re seeing. Yabu already expected that this will be the reaction he’ll get from his students. But he gave a deep sigh. How he wish he can bring his love in this place. He then felt a warm hug from the back and his body recognized the warmth.
“You wished I was here, right?” a gentle voice asked him. Yabu turned around and hugged back.
“Of course, I do. Out of al people in this world, I want to see this scenery with you.” Yabu replied. “by the way, Kei-chan,” Yabu broke the hug and moved away a little. “How did you managed to be in here?” he asked curiously.
“it’s because, when you tell me that you’re going here, I remembered what you told me about this place. So, I went here by train then asked the guide if where can I pass to go in this place. And so, I’m here.” Keiti smiled at him.
“Inoo-sensei is here too!” one of the students shouted.
“Inoo-sensei, konnichiwa!” another student greeted. Keiti smiled at them and greeted back. Now, the love birds are having their fun time strolling in the place that was called, “Inoobu’s paradise” by Yabu.
Ryu and Yuto found a large tree and sat under it’s shade. Yuto is starting to take pictures with the camera he brought along. “Yuto, I think I like her.” Ryu sighed.
“I know you do. You’re blushing like a tomato earlier.” Yuto giggled.
“Stop giggling. And stop using the word tomato. It makes me want to puke.” Ryu frowned. “but really, is it really obvious earlier?”
“of course! You even manage to stroke Chinen’s hair earlier. And I think, I’m the only one who knows about that.” Yuto laughed. “I didn’t think that a serious person like you, Ryu will be like this.”
“Baka!” Ryutaro gave a much deeper sigh. “Yuto, I need to tell you something.”
Yuto looked at Ryutaro, “shoot.”
“I’m sorry.” Ryutaro bowed his head down and apologized. Yuto’s eyes widen for hearing Ryu’s apologize.
“For what?” Yuto asked.
“’cause I’m a bad friend.” Ryutaro sighed again.
“bad? But you’re not-” before finishing his sentence Ryutaro cut it off, “I AM!”
“it’s because the first time you stood up in front of us in our classroom, I know you’re a Nakajima. I know you’re Nakajima Kento’s son, the most successful business man in Japan. At first I made you my friend because I’m thinking, I can use you to merge my family’s business with yours.” He said nervously. “and of course, I know you were transferred in our school by your father and not because of that stupid scholarship you’re talking about.”
“What the-” Yuto is confused about what Ryu’s talking about. The words are rumbling in his brain. “Ryu, you mean-” Ryu cut it off again.
“let me finish first.” Ryu took a deep breath and said, “but, I investigated everything about you, then I now remember who you are.”
“Wait, who am I?” Yuto scratched his head in confusion.
“Un~” Ryu nodded. “I don’t know if you still remember this but, when I was in 3rd grade, I went to Aomori in summer because of my father’s business. While my father is having a meeting, I snuck out from the hotel we’re staying and roamed around Aomori. But, I got lost and that’s the time when I met you. You saw me crying in the park and gave me an ice cream in cone and asked me why I am crying. Then I told you everything and you told me that you’ll find the hotel. And yeah, we really found the hotel but it’s not because of you. But it’s because of the ojii-san you brought along. Then as a thank you gift, I gave you my watch but you don’ want it. But then again, as stubborn as I am, I left the watch in the floor and ran to my father whose panicky asking the woman in the front desk. Then, when I’m about to tell my father that you saved me, you’re already gone.”
While Ryutaro is telling him the story, Yuto recalled everything and shouted, “Ah! You’re that kid who’s wearing a hamster shirt and has a hamster cap and hamster watch!”
“why do you need to remember that hamster thing?” Ryutaro said in annoyance. “and to continue, I left my real intention and became your real friend.” Ryutaro bowed down his head in shyness.
“awww~~ Ryu-chan is sooooo cute.” Yuto cuddled the latter and laughed at him forgetting about what ryu said first about the Nakajima thing. what’s more important for him is, Ryutaro is his friend.
“Stop cuddling me and stop calling me Ryu-chan like I’m a little kid!” Ryutaro pushed himself away from Yuto. But Yuto still cuddled him and said, “stop acting like an old geezer, deep inside you’re still a kid, ne, Ryu-chan?” Yuto teased him again. This time, Ryutaro glared at him. Yuto felt an evil aura and ran away from him and the latter chased after him.
“Seems like, they’re really enjoying, ne, Yama-chan?” Yuri asked Ryosuke who’s sitting under the shade of another tree.
“Like the hell that I care.” Ryosuke rolled her eyes but she focused at how Yuto laughed while being chased by Ryutaro and it made her smile.
When the dawn is near, Keiti and Yabu called all the students that they need to be back at the camping ground to prepare for dinner. Everyone followed Yabu and Kei’s tracks in a buddy-buddy system again. They arrived at the camping ground and the sun is nearly gone. They didn’t need to go back to the lodging house since all of their things are in the camping ground already. it’s dark already and Yabu started to turn on the bulbs to give them some light.
As everyone is enjoying while waiting for their dinner being cooked by Inoo, Ryosuke suddenly felt that her necklace is lost. She started to search for it, asked Yuri and her classmates if they saw it, and also asked her dearest cousin and his girlfriend but no luck. “I’m going back to the lodging house.” She told Yabu but he stopped her. he called Yuto and told him to accompany Ryosuke since it’s night already. Yuto just nodded and because Ryosuke is in a hurry, she grabbed Yuto’s hand and dragged him. I can’t lose it. It’s my mom gift for me. Ryosuke thought and tears fell from her eyes. Yuto can hear the sobs she’s creating.
“Is it really important?” Yuto asked.
“of course, baka! if not, then I won’t search for it.” Their flashlight and the moonlight is their only source of light. Yuto led the way, still holding Ryosuke’s hands and starts moving his hand with the flashlight from left to right.
“what are you doing?” Ryosuke asked him.
“searching for it. Maybe, while walking here, it accidentally fell.” Yuto said. Then he found something. He dragged Ryosuke with him. he found something glittering when he pointed the flashlight on his right. He focused on the direction and found a necklace.
“yamada-san! Is that your necklace?” Yuto asked her. Ryosuke came closer and looked and bingo! It’s her necklace. Ryosuke rushed to get it and didn’t know that the land is sloping downwards.
“Yamada-san! Matte! You’ll fall!” Yuto shouted but he’s too late. Ryosuke is already falling and Yuto did his very best to grab her hand. Luckily, he did. Unfortunately, both of them fell.

“why do you need to remember that hamster thing?” Ryutaro said in annoyance. “and to continue, I left my real intention and became your real friend.” Ryutaro bowed down his head in shyness.
“awww~~ Ryu-chan is sooooo cute.” Yuto cuddled the latter and laughed at him forgetting about what ryu said first about the Nakajima thing. what’s more important for him is, Ryutaro is his friend.
“Stop cuddling me and stop calling me Ryu-chan like I’m a little kid!” Ryutaro pushed himself away from Yuto. But Yuto still cuddled him and said, “stop acting like an old geezer, deep inside you’re still a kid, ne, Ryu-chan?” Yuto teased him again. This time, Ryutaro glared at him. Yuto felt an evil aura and ran away from him and the latter chased after him.
“Seems like, they’re really enjoying, ne, Yama-chan?” Yuri asked Ryosuke who’s sitting under the shade of another tree.
“Like the hell that I care.” Ryosuke rolled her eyes but she focused at how Yuto laughed while being chased by Ryutaro and it made her smile.
When the dawn is near, Keiti and Yabu called all the students that they need to be back at the camping ground to prepare for dinner. Everyone followed Yabu and Kei’s tracks in a buddy-buddy system again. They arrived at the camping ground and the sun is nearly gone. They didn’t need to go back to the lodging house since all of their things are in the camping ground already. it’s dark already and Yabu started to turn on the bulbs to give them some light.
As everyone is enjoying while waiting for their dinner being cooked by Inoo, Ryosuke suddenly felt that her necklace is lost. She started to search for it, asked Yuri and her classmates if they saw it, and also asked her dearest cousin and his girlfriend but no luck. “I’m going back to the lodging house.” She told Yabu but he stopped her. he called Yuto and told him to accompany Ryosuke since it’s night already. Yuto just nodded and because Ryosuke is in a hurry, she grabbed Yuto’s hand and dragged him. I can’t lose it. It’s my mom gift for me. Ryosuke thought and tears fell from her eyes. Yuto can hear the sobs she’s creating.
“Is it really important?” Yuto asked.
“of course, baka! if not, then I won’t search for it.” Their flashlight and the moonlight is their only source of light. Yuto led the way, still holding Ryosuke’s hands and starts moving his hand with the flashlight from left to right.
“what are you doing?” Ryosuke asked him.
“searching for it. Maybe, while walking here, it accidentally fell.” Yuto said. Then he found something. He dragged Ryosuke with him. he found something glittering when he pointed the flashlight on his right. He focused on the direction and found a necklace.
“yamada-san! Is that your necklace?” Yuto asked her. Ryosuke came closer and looked and bingo! It’s her necklace. Ryosuke rushed to get it and didn’t know that the land is sloping downwards.
“Yamada-san! Matte! You’ll fall!” Yuto shouted but he’s too late. Ryosuke is already falling and Yuto did his very best to grab her hand. Luckily, he did. Unfortunately, both of them fell.
