It’s been 5 months already since Yamada, Inoo and Yabu went to America. Yamada is having a fun time in America but of course she prefers to be in Japan with her friends and especially with Yuto. She already got accepted in one of the high schools there and already studying there. She always call Yuto or Yuto will call her. they also video chat using a messenger and talk lots of lots of things. Their relationship stays the same but the Chiitaro relationship seems like not in a good state.
“eh? Chii and Ryutaro fought?” Yamada asked while calling Yuto.
“Un… and they won’t tell me what happened.” Yuto pouted.
“I can’t even think of any reason that Chii and Ryutaro will have a fight except if Chii gets jealous with Ham-chan or Chii will steal Ryutaro’s DS.” Yamada chuckled.
“I’ll try asking them again tomorrow.” Yuto sighed and looked at his watch.
“Yuto-kun, still not going to sleep yet? It’s almost midnight in there already.” she asked when she heard Yuto yawned.
“I think I’m going to sleep now. Ja Yama-chan… I’ll call you again tomorrow ne~”
“Hai… I’ll wait for your call…”Yamada smiled.
“Bye-bye Yama-chan… oyasumi! Aishiteru~ chu~♥”
“Ja ne~ Aishiteru mo~ chu~ ♥” then both of them hanged up.

The next day, Yuto found Chinen and Ryutaro still in a cold war. And again, he tried to ask for the reason why they’re fighting but still, they didn’t tell him about it. that night, Yuto reported again to Yamada about what happened and the latter could only sigh.
“Yuto-kun, let them be for a while ne? I think both of them are currently on the process of thinking how to make up.” Yamada assured and Yuto nodded. “so, how’s your day?”
“still the same as usual.” There’s a silence for a bit then Yuto continued, “it’s lonely without you here, Yama-chan.” sadness can be hinted in his voice.

Both of them feels the same way. Missing each other everyday.
“It’s lonely without you here too.” She sighed. “I checked the distance earlier between America and Japan. And I found out that America and Japan are 24 inches apart. That means, we’re only 24 inches apart, right?” Then she heard Yuto chuckled in the other line.
“Yama-chan, tell me. How did you check the distance between America and Japan?” Yuto asked in the other line still chuckling.
“I measured the big rectangular map in my room using a ruler.” Yamada sounded serious that made Yuto chuckle more.

Chinen locked herself in her room and won’t let Ryutaro come in no matter how many times the latter knocked the door. The knock stopped and she assumed Ryutaro went home already. How did they end up having a cold war? Well it’s because~~
A week before:
Chinen called Ryutaro to ask if they can hava a date but the younger refused because he said, he needs to buy some stuffs for Shintaro. But Chinen asked if she can tag along but the latter declined her offer again because he said that he’s going to lots of shops and Chinen’s feet will go swollen since he’s only going to walk and plus, he’ll be with Shintaro. Chinen understood that maybe she needs to give Ryutaro a time with his brother too so she gave her okay to him. when she hanged up, for 15 minutes, she keeps thinking what things does she need to do and come up with an idea to shop alone and maybe, she’ll see Ryutaro there.
Well, she really saw Ryutaro there but she never thought that when arriving at shibuya, she’ll go back home immediately. she was wandering around shibuya thinking what shop does she need to enter first. Then she saw a guy who looks like Ryutaro. But she’s sure that she looks like Ryutaro, it can’t be a mistake. There’s no Shintaro around on a girl CLINGING on Ryutaro by tangling their arms together closing their distance with head on leaning on ryutaro’s shoulder. She followed them and stopped when they stopped. Then suddenly, the girl clinging on Ryutaro kissed him in the cheeks and that made Chinen turn around and ran back home with tears flowing from her eyes without even seeing ryutaro’s disgusted face.
that night, Ryutaro visited Chinen when he heard that Chinen keeps crying herself. He went to her room and found her covering herself with sheets and he can clearly hear her sobs.
“Chii?” he called her then the sobs stopped. Chinen on the other hand didn’t know what to do. Ryutaro is now walking towards her bed when a squirrel plush was thrown to him.
“Go away!” Chinen shouted.
“Chii, did I do anything wrong?” Ryutaro asked with a tone of concern.
“figure it out yourself.” She shouted again. Ryutaro stepped back and sat on the floor with his back on Chinen’s door. He started to think about what he did that made Chinen angry but there’s NOTHING.
“Chii, I didn’t even do a single thing to make you angry.” Ryutaro told her. Chinen is currently on rage because Ryutaro keeps denying about his date with that girl. she went out under the covers and march towards Ryutaro. She stood in front of him then look at him eye to eye. “YOU’RE CHEATING ON ME!!!” she shouted in front of him that made Ryutaro startled.
“Huh?” Ryutaro asked confusingly.
“I said, you’re cheating on me!” Chinen repeated.
“W-what?! Me? Cheating?” he pointed himself.
“Yes, you, you, you, Ryutaro.” She points at him with her index finger.
“But Chii, I don’t date anyone except you.” Ryutaro said in his gentle voice because he’s restraining himself not to shout over Chinen.
“NO! I saw you earlier.” She retorted back. “I saw you with my OWN EYES HAVING A DATE WITH ANOTHER GIRL!”
“Eh?” ryutaro thinks for a while and he remembered now, “ah that….”
“Yes, that! I saw the girl clinging on you and… and…” she started to cry again, “she kissed your cheeks…”
“But Chii-”
“STOP IT!!!!”
“Chii, let me explain.”
“I don’t need your explanation Ryutaro!”
“chii-“
“NO!”
“let me-“
“I SAID NO!”
“JUST LET ME EXPLAIN YOU, SQUIRREL!” Ryutaro snapped and yeah, Ryutaro can’t take it anymore and shouted at Chinen.
“Oh… SO YOU’RE SHOUTING AT ME? YOU’RE SHOUTING AT ME? SINCE WHEN DID YOU START SHOUTING AT ME? SINCE THE DAY YOU DATE THAT GIRL? HUH, YOU HAMSTER?!”
“IT’S BECAUSE, JUST LET ME EXPLAIN FOR A WHILE!”
“I DON’T NEED YOUR EXPLANATION, RYUTARO! NOW, GET OUT OF MY ROOM!” Chinen shouted crying. Ryutaro just stood there not wanting to go.
“I SAID, GO OUT!” Chinen pointed to the door.
“Chii…” Ryutaro called again in his gentle voice.
“GO OUT! GO OUT! GO OUT!” Chinen shouted again and that made Ryutaro shout back.
“FINE!” he stomped away from the room and when he closed the door, he purposely slammed it to make Chinen realize that he’s angry too.
“Ryu-chan you meanie… why did you go? If you’re not cheating on me then you’re going to do your best to prove your innocence.” She went under her covers again and keeps murmuring, “Ryu-chan baka” until she fell asleep.
