My final trip of the neverending chain. I am back in Singapore again, over the weekend, utilising that 14-Day ticket that I bought for my last trip back to change my Malaysian ID card. Let's recap...
31/8 - 2/9 Shanghai
3/9 - 7/9 Taipei
8/9 - 10/9 Beijing
13/9 - 18/9 UK
19/9 - 21/9 Singapore
Now, I have 7 days to close the quarter and off to Boracay. The numbers are definitely looking good. The next quarter's target is 25% more. With most of our major clientele coming from Financial Industry, I am really hoping that the target can be revised. I already had 2 calls yesterday telling me to revise the proposal due to all the drama. Part of me is really hoping for Shanghai.
Anyway, the travelling is crazy. I am going to say no if the same pattern comes up again in the next quarter. In fact, we should cut cost now by travelling less.
And so I got back to Singapore last night. Was looking forward to going to Movida and open up that long overdue bottle of Smirnoff that's been in my account for months now. Too bad, everyone was already bored of the place by the time I was ready to go over. Had my missed Maxwell porridge. It's funny how I enjoyed the gossiping about my ex-company so much. Hahaha.. I think I am really bad at letting go of old stuff.
Agnes gave me a lift back. I was walking up the staircase leading to the lift lobby of this backpackers' hostel that I checked into at Sportiswoode Park Road (it's really a HDB Flat, with 4 bedrooms, 3 double bunkers per room @ S$20), when my head started to feel giddy. Next moment, my nose was bleeding. I sat down at the staircase. Finally, my body's giving up. I sat there for like... 20 minutes? Slowly, I climbed my way back to the hostel, took a shower and slept. That was scary....
I was passing through the Marina Sands in the cab last night. It's nice to finally see some structure coming up. Suddenly, I had a thought of checking myself into Venetian Macao just over the weekend. It's always nice to have all this idea. But sad when you realise if you were to do it, you are by yourself.. emo emo...
Now, off to my Yakun!
