October: A revelation.

September: BBQ at Khai and Tony's new apartment this Saturday.

August: I cannot type for absolute shit when I'm in an altered state of mind.

July: I started reading GRRM's A Song of Ice and Fire series and I'm halfway through the first book.

March: I was working this morning and Dustyn came to me smiling and asked if I was on the clock, because he saw this dude in the back room looking at porn.

February: What great news!

January: These games are so addicting.

PART I: Flashback 10 years ago...

1. How old were you?
I think 13.

2. In school?
In 8th grade.

3. Back then, what would you have expected of your life in 10 years?
No idea. I didn't even think this far, I think.

4. Did you fulfill any of it?
Uh, no?

5. Describe your everyday appearance back then.
I wore guys' clothes and looked like a guy. They were always baggy.

6. Describe your everyday routine at the turn of the century.
School, video games, friends, eat...something like that?

7. New Years 2000. What were you doing when the century changed?
Probably rotting away on the computer.

2000: 8th grade in middle school. I loved South Park and Pokemon. Worked for UPNetwork and drew Pokemon pictures. Yeah, this was one of the prime years of my website, Dark City. I think only one person I know of remembers this time.

2001: Freshman year of high school. Joined air rifle team. Para Para!!! Liked Digimon. Drew yaoi? Don't remember much. Met buuzen around this year or the previous..?

2002: Was emo for a while, haha. Did lots of openCanvas sessions with buuzen, I remember.

2003: Still emo. Went out with fucking FOB Chinese guys. Tweaked on Initial D at Brian's. Was in air rifle again. First job at L&L Drive-In.

2004: Had my first epiphany. Graduated. Still had FOB friends. Got my first car, Haku, a white 1995 Honda Civic EX. Went to KCC. Fucking Chinese friend owed me money this year.

2005: Switched to HCC sometime for CENT. Went to the first Kawaii Kon. Made new friends, finally threw away my old "friends."

2006: First year at Artist Alley and Kawaii Kon. Printed my first doujinshi with buuzen. Graduated HCC with AS in CENT. Decided to continue with my BS. Started playing WoW. Had my first tech job at UH. Realized I finally satisfied a life-long goal.

2007:
Quit working at UH and worked at computer lab at HCC. Also went to HPU part-time to get started on my BA. More new friends. Second year at Kawaii Kon. Car broke down sometime during the end of this year, I think.

2008: Third year at Kawaii Kon. Had the best profit this year. Went to Michigan to stay with my relatives there for a month.

2009: Worst year ever. Fourth year at Kawaii Kon. One of my best friends passed away. Funeral. Seeing a corpse for the first time. Designing a friend's headstone. Seeing his mother cry. A domino effect. Got my first two baby kitties, Tony and Daenerys. Car possibly dead for good. Last semester working at HCC. Also had my second epiphany.

PART III: Fandoms! We all have them.

1. Fandoms at the start of the decade:
Pokemon, Digimon

2. Fandoms in the middle of the decade:
Initial D, Naruto.

3. Fandoms toward the end:
Phoenix Wright, World of Warcraft

4. Any fandoms that remained on the top of the list after all those years:
Final Fantasy, Mario, Nintendo!

PART IV: Show and tell!
Post pictures only if you are comfortable. You can skip them those portions if you like.

1. Yourself: Then and now

Err...this post isn't locked, so for those interested, you can see them on my facebook :P

2. Post old artwork, graphics, photos showing stuff you've made from early on and now.

PART V: The new decade

1. Where do you want to be in life after another 10 years?
Hopefully I'd have a real job by then. I'd probably still be going to school because I love learning. Don't know where I'll be.

2. Do you think you'll still love some of the same things as you do now?
Of course!

3. Where do you think the world will be after another 10 years?
Probably will still be the same, hopefully we'll be out of a recession, though.

4. What kind of technological, scientific, or medical advances do you think we'll discover in 10 years?
Can't really say, I don't know what's next. Communication will probably be more "online" and less personal, I guess.

5. Do you think the rise of technologies like the internet will bring humanity closer in another 10 years? Or do you think it will push us further apart?
Probably both depending on what you prefer. I can list reasons why people believe technology will push us apart, but there are also reasons where technology can bring others together. It's 50-50.

6. Finally, when you reach old age, what will you tell younger generations when they ask what life was like at the turn of the century?
Every single person on this planet should be lucky they exist in the first place, whether their lives had meaning to it or not. We are all a part of the cosmos and the universe and everything will fall into place at the end of our time, then we will recycle ourselves and be reborn into future generations of stars and planets. This process will repeat not for eternity, but as long as there are medium to allow to do so. In essence, we are one with the universe, and the universe is one with is. That is the process of everything that exists.

Now or Never.

Heaven or Hell.

Alpha and Omega.

Beginning and End.

I must decide, my time is Now. I must tear apart my shell and expose my wings that bleed.
