The last time I begged my mom to buy me a video game console, I was in 5th grade, and it was for the N64. After that, me buying consoles would've been from my dad taking me back to China and buy them cheaply there or I'd have to skip lunch for months until I saved up money.
I'm thinking of persuading my parents to buy a PS3. So I can play Dragon Age. And possibly Oblivion. Because my PC can't handle those games. Also, I'm very poor, and have yet to find a job. But the catch is I would have to talk to them and tell them the benefits of buying a PS3 for THEM, and not me. I was thinking of telling them that it's a Bluray player and you can watch downloaded movies, and I would download all their Chinese dramas and crap for them to watch. Also, the language settings can be set to Chinese, and you can connect to the internet. And maybe I'll add that it's also a video game console too, but I'm only going to play one game for it. And I'll only play it after they sleep or when no one's home. Fuck, skip the video games part, it's too obvious. But then again, my stepdad probably knows it's a console because he's somewhat tech-savvy. Fuck.
I'm actually kind of nervous thinking about how to ask them that. I must execute this with precision or else I'll just get yelled at for asking them to buy me video games.
