Mixed Feelings
Today is the third day of my bum life. I am catching up mostly on sleep and food. This is the relaxation I am looking forward to after all those exhausting, tiring times within the four walls of the academe. This is also the last summer vacation I can ever hope to have.
Suddenly, I am a college graduate, an adult treading onto new paths and testing new waters again. I am suddenly pushed into a world where I need to get a job to help pay for bills, where I need to grow up as fast as possible to take on the career competition. A lot of things are also happening around me, too, which make me worried and anxious.

I am overjoyed, of course, that I have finally gotten my degree after years of waiting. Looking back, I thought this would not be possible but hey, everything will come in good time.
Graduating from college signifies the end of the safety and comfort of the school and signals the beginning of another phase of uncertainty and doubt. The future is still not very clear for most of us, the new graduates, as we are still in the process of mapping out the roads laid before us. We may step on mud puddles, potholes and stony paths but in good hope, we will strive to move forward no matter what.

All these things I have achieved are all thanks to the wonderful people who helped, supported and guided me. Especially the mentors whose unwavering patience and dedication rallied me on to reach the finish line. And my parents who always provided for me and encouraged me to continue on. And also my great friends who patiently listened to me and gave me their most thoughtful insights. Thank you, everyone.
For now, I am going to enjoy this summer. Go to a lot of places, get some things done, revise loads of things and build build build! And of course, enjoy the ride. I was trained by people from the industry who inspire me to no end. Of course, I am one of the best. :)
