First of all I just want to say hello to the love of my life who’s reading this letter right now. We’ve been married for two years today. You’ve given me the best years of my life and I hope there are more happy years to come. We have our differences like any other couple, but we never shout at each other. When we first got together, you taught me that shouting doesn’t solve anything, it just causes unnecessary pain. Our friends question how we can maintain the passion if we never shout at each other, if we never get mad. We do get mad at each other, but we never yell. You’re right, it doesn’t solve anything, it just hurts.
I remember the first day I met you. My second year of High School, you were in your first. Do you remember how I tried to get you to notice me? I bought the cutest pink heart Post-it notes and I wrote cute messages on them before I attached them to your locker. I think I did this for about 6 months. I thought you never even noticed me in school, but I was wrong. You had been writing messages to me as well, but you arrived at school so early... when only the teachers were present, so the Janitor removed the notes from my locker before the rest of the students arrived. I still wonder what you wrote. Maybe if I had seen your replies, we could have gotten together sooner. I remember the first message I wrote to you.
