a/n: Just a random post and it is a continuation from a one shot ‘Hold My Hand’ if you’re interested to read hehe.

It was merely nine in the evening when Jun finished his work at the studio where he and Ohno had a meeting for the man's upcoming concert. The night was warm as the summer finally began and it meant there would be more insects everywhere; there would be more T-shirts to wash.

He exited the studio and found Sho at the waiting room, he was occupied with his laptop but soon closed it as Jun approached him.

"Did you finish?" Sho asked, grabbing his laptop and inserting it on the rucksack beside him.

"I guess so," Jun answered. He looked at Sho who busily searching something inside his bag, probably the car's key. It had been three months since Sho suddenly appeared in front of him after seven years of separation. He was appointed by Ohno to assist him which Jun hoped would be temporary because he couldn't concentrate when Sho was around.

They were in a complicated relationship; they had kissed a few times which was enough to send Jun to a trans; they held hands when nobody was around and they had gone for dates. Sho's favorite was going to the bookstore (for God's sake?).

"Shall we go now?" Jun asked.

Sho nodded, but he seemed to not finding the thing he had been searching for.

"If it's the key, I have the spare," Jun mumbled, leaving Sho behind.

"Sorry," Sho said while chasing him towards the elevator.

Both of them drowned in their own thoughts as they were inside the empty lift. Jun was still thinking of the concept Ohno had given him. The singer wanted him to finish it by next Monday which was just two days from now and it meant sleepless weekend.

"Are we going home directly?" Sho asked.

"Nah, I need some inspiration," Jun mumbled.

"Should we go to your favorite pub?"

"No," Jun shook his head, "I want to go for a ride, just you and me."

Sho gave him a soft smile as a reply, he took Jun's hand and lead the way towards the parking lot.

Jun insisted on driving but Sho denied the idea since Jun was too tired and he was the assistant. Both of them entered the car, fastened their seat belt and sit back.

"No weekend, I presume," Sho said as driving the car towards the street.

"Yeah," Jun answered, leaning his head in the chair and closed his eyes.

"Where are we going?"

"I don't know," Jun shrugged. "Let's just drive aimlessly."

They drove outside of the town in low speed. Sho turned on the music which surprisingly was jazz one. It relaxed Jun for the first time since he met Ohno at the studio.

"Aren't you hungry?" Sho asked him.

"We can drop by at the convenient store nearby and buy some food," Jun replied, "I really am not in the mood to meet people tonight."

"Okay," Sho said, giving him a kind look.

"Sho kun."

"Yes."

“When will you quit your job as my assistant?” Jun asked, turning his head at Sho.

“If you want me to quit, then I’ll quit.”

“I mean, it’s nice to have you around, but I can’t focus on my work,” Jun said, brushing his messy hair with his fingers. “Maybe you can ask Ohno san to move you to another section.”

“It means that I can’t see you all the time,” Sho said.

“You can see me after work.”

“In the middle of the night with your shortened temper,” Sho chuckled, stopping the car as the traffic light turned red. “I don’t want to mess you up, so if it’s the best, I’ll move to another section.”

“Thank you,” Jun shifted closer and gave Sho a kiss on his left cheek.

“You know, sometimes you are the sweetest man on earth,” Sho turned at him and looked through Jun’s eyes. “I’m glad that you never changed.”

“Oh, please,” Jun rolled his eyes.

Sho leaned closer and pulled him to land a kiss on his lips, ignoring that they were in the middle of the street. Jun felt that the tight grip on his chest had loosened as Sho’s lips touched his. His stressed over the upcoming concert seemed to vanish for a moment.
“Let’s find our dinner,” Sho said as the light had turned green.

Jun nodded and leaned his head on the seat again. The night was still long; Sho drove the car farther away after buying some food at the nearest convenient store. They didn’t stop until Jun dozed off on his seat.

They decided to spend the night at the first hotel they could find.

“It would be a long way home tomorrow,” Sho mumbled to him.

“It’s okay, as long as I am with you.”

The man smiled at him and held him tight under the blanket, waiting for the morning to come.
