Moving day tomorrow.
It has been almost 6 months since I joined the navy. I made it through bootcamp. I have been at the Naval Station Great Lakes since November 26th. I have adapted to the ways of the military. I have grown accustomed to the idiotic rules here. I have bonded with many people. My name is well known. I complete ATT school tomorrow and move from this "ship" (USS Wisconsin) to a new ship (USS Cole) and I begin A school right away after which I will earn my rate ET and get to choose my orders for my first command (hopefully San Diego). I have changed and improved and thrived. I have done really well in ATT, never getting lower than a 90 on my tests, maintaining a 95 gpa or higher. I even got best of the best last week! Everything here has gone so well I know this is where I am meant to be.
