Mezashita Mirai E - Lyrics and Translation

Official lyrics are out!

Interesting. I suspect the two B-sides on this single "Hitori Janaisa" and this one, "Mezashita Mirai E", are meant to be listened to together. They tell the two sides to the stories in a relationship. "Hitori Janaisa" refers to someone who has moved away to a new town and contains the line "mezashita mirai e", while " ( Read more... )

oh! this is wonderfull!! (and the music is great! can't wait to have a HQ version to get the instruments and the harmonies in detail~ jazzy and modern - mature)
I love the lyrics! and the tie to hitorijanaisa!
when the singles are out, I will check about more connections~
I'm already captivated by the theme of the lyrics and the flow of strength of the music~

it's interesting, that we have no solo-lines here, always at least pairings
but the quality wasn't good enough to hear the voices clear

I think you got this line right...

Thank you!!!

BWAHAHAHAH CLARA~! DETA! I should just reserve a spot for you at the top of the comments when it comes to lyrics posts? :p seriously, you're beginning to scare me

It's a breezy, relaxing song isn't it? Sounds familiar too. But it's still too early in the morning for me to unfuzz my brain enough to think of what other Arashi songs it resembles. ^^;;;

As for the banner? Wait till you see the summer version that'll be going up soon ♥

I love how the two B sides are sibling songs. With Hitori Janaisa it's as if the couple has just separated, sad and trying to come to terms with the separation, and with this song, it's as if they have become used to the separation, are doing their best and are know planning or looking forward to seeing each other again (so JAL CM).

In terms of feel, this song has an early 80s feels like Tooku Made, a summery, breezy feeling. Makes we want to feel wind in my face on a bike, top down car ride or running around in a park.

Isn't this single so fabulous? Sexy, kick-ass side A, and beautiful side Bs. I'm so happy that Ohno's dramas have gotten such nice well-rounded singles.

Answering your question from your last response to me, yes, I'll be moving to another state to study (FL to MD). Major changes in my life!

*nods* I kept stopping and going back to "Hitori Janaisa" as I was translating. I love the idea of the songs being a story of how each person struggles on their own end, but they use their memories of their times together to sustain them through the tough times.

Mrr, yes, "Tooku Made". Someone told me earlier that it reminded them of "Harukaze Sneaker" as well.

Yes! Loving this single!

And FL to MD? Wow, you're moving from the tropics to snow country. That IS huge. Gambatte!
