Awwww, if I'd known that you loved this song THIS much, I would have translated it earlier for you! Your level of enthusiasm for it is through the roof!!! heheh
Just got my copy today, sweet!!!! Enjoy your album when you get it! :)
awwww dear, doesn't really matter how long it took. You translated it and that's already something for me. And not to worry coz I've just started my rounds in lj today after like a few weeks of not doing so, so it's ok if you've just translated it now. haha
But I'm touched that you thought of translating it earlier because of my enthusiasm. teehee :)
I will definitely enjoy my copy when I get it. thank you! I like quite a lot of the songs from the album actually.
OMG now that I know the meaning of the song, I just loved it more. I'm feeling giddy at the moment. so sexyyyyy lyrics! haha super happy.
woa, you finally translated it! I was looking forward to it...^-^ It's my favourite! I love the music-arrangement and the voices and distractions and the really pervy-lyrics O_O (I've already talked about it in my LJ...how it's disturbing my brain) Thank you dear!!
oh, like I stated in my LJ-entry about Boku...I wanted to compare your translation with denise_dinc's (since you are my No.1 translator, but I was so curious about the lyrics that I searched for an other and found hers...) it's smexy-sexy in both versions!!! but there are great differences...hm, japanese really is a complicated language!
But seriously, there are a lot of reasons why translations differ, ranging from different translators seeing a different image of the song/theme in their heads to more syntactic issues such as the lack of subject pronouns in most of the lyrics and deciding which phrase modifies what part of the clause.
So even though I don't look at other translations, I'm not surprised to hear that there are differences. (Actually, I think that's a good thing. :)) Oh, and while you're at it, check out aishitsuzukeru 's translations too. She's a friend who does lyrics as well. :)
really ^O^ hm, I will looking at hers as well...I'm really fascinated by this aspect of japanese language...every time I'm reading japanese literature I hope to find different translations, since it changes the atmosphere and sometimes even the content...
