I cannot believe this song is just a B side; it's too good to be relegated to B side status.  So I was glad when it was one of the songs chosen by the boys as part of "Arashi's Selection" for the 5x10 LE album. It was also part of the concert set list for the Arashi Around Asia concert, where they rocked it.

Thanks for translating. I really like Tada Shinya's Arashi songs. Although Kaze is my favorite Tada Shinya Arashi songs, Still and Itsumademo are tied for second, and I love Koe too. Although I do not understand Japanese, the songs seem to convey encounters and journeys for me. Now that I say your translation for Still and I've read Kaze's translation somewhere, I guess the music really matches the lyrics in what they convey. I just wonder why Arashi often sings of fleeting encounters as Natsu no Namae (one of my favorites) also seem to convey this.

Yes! I love Tada Shinya's work! The other three songs you mentioned are on my "to do" list as well. XD

There's a trend I've noticed with Arashi's songs. . . they tend to focus on "safe" themes now that they've become super popular. When they weren't as big, their songs had a riskier, more "adult" edge to them. Not so much anymore.

One of the "safe" themes is journeys and encounters. *sigh* Arashi has this national image of "good boys" that sing "feel good" songs, and that image is being catered to. I wish they'd be allowed to step outside that box a little more.

Couldn't JE/J-Storm market Arashi as naughty good boys instead? Not bad-boy KAT-TUN or Exile types as that would be so funny on Arashi as I think their real personalities are still similar to what we see on TV (not exactly what we see because what we see is a packaged image, but similar). We all know they smoke and watch porn. And everyone has a not-so-good side to them. So it would be normal for Arashi to sing about edgier themes.

"Monster"? Are you talking about the new single for "Kaibutsu-kun"? I've heard of "Heart Game," but I"m not familiar w/ "Monster". hmmm. . .

Hahaha, I WISH JE would let Arashi be naughty/good boys! And while they're at it, I'd like them to bring back Shukudai-kun and have all 5 members do an an-an shoot together. ^_^ Anything else to add to the wish list while we're at it?

Fans have posted pics of portions of the Kaibutsu-kun poster and it says that the theme song is "Monster" by Arashi. Apparently, it is the one we've been hearing in the CM background.

Before the Arashi group An-An photo shoot, I'd die to see Ohno's and Aiba's photo shoots first. Nino, not so much because at the moment we'd just see a scrawny 17-year-old-looking 26-year-old with a slight pot belly (he should beef up first). I swear Ohno and Aiba would look really yummy as Aiba always looks pretty in pics (and we'd see the golfer-runner bod of his) and Ohno is so "on" when he's on.
