T/N: Regarding the seventh stanza of the song (sono te wo nobashite. . .). The lines don't seem to make sense at first glance. You need to look at them as alternating lines (lines 1 and 3 (sung by Arashi, minus Nino), then lines 2 and 4 (sung solo by Nino), then line 5 (sung by Nino and Arashi)) in order for the meaning to come across. Interesting phrasing choice made by the lyricist.
There's an odd line (***) in the third stanza: boku wa kokoro kara te wo furu yo. I've translated it literally as: I'll wave to you from my heart. It's one of those weird phrases that doesn't come across very well in English, but I believe the implied meaning here is that the singer will support or cheer his lover on despite the fact that she (or he *GRIN*) is leaving.
And while I'm at it, can I just take a moment to say that rich text editor absolutely blows?!! Honestly, sometimes it takes me longer to go back and forth between RTE and HTML to edit the formatting on a post than it takes to translate the damn song in the first place. sheez.
