Googling and Yahooing things to do and eat in Tokyo for our upcoming trip.
It's amazing how despite having been there over 20 times, each time still feels like the first somehow. Such a fast paced, ever morphing city it is! Always something new to discover.
Looking forward to borrowing my mom's bicycle and roaming the streets of my "home"town. Although I was not born or raised there technically, the house that I stay in is the house that's been in my life the most consistently, so it's more home than anywhere else really. The sound of the front door rolling open is one of the most comforting I can recall.
Not sure that I have ever been in Tokyo during the month of October. I really hope to be able to see some fall foliage..something I haven't seen since leaving Portland for school.
Speaking of fall foliage, I've been inspired a lot by this image by tadahiro uesugi lately...I would like to recreate it somehow, maybe with some Japanese rice paper if I can find some good ones in Tokyo.
