This is the thread for theme voting. There will ideally be one main theme, and then about 2 more phrases relevant to the main theme just for banners. The main theme brings together the 7 basic themes. There will be 7 additional themes that are alternate and are not necessarily relevant to the main theme.
{/ Schedule }:
June 7 ~ Aug. 31: Determine themes for the year.
» June 7 ~ June 27: Suggestions are taken for overall theme for the year.
» June 28 ~ July 14: Overall theme voting.
» July 15 ~ Aug. 15: Suggestions are taken for basic/additional themes and for alternate phrases relating to the main overall theme.
» Aug 16 ~ Aug. 31: Theme voting (7 basic, 7 additional). DELAYED.
Current stage: Basic/alt theme voting. Deadline TBA.
{/ Notes to consider before you vote }:
❀ A LiveJournal account is not required to vote. A third-party poll/survey service is used to allow everyone to participate.
❀ The polls are secured. You may only vote once on each poll. There are loopholes, but please don't exploit them.
❀ You may only vote up to 3 overall main themes, and up to 12 for basic themes and up to 14 for alternate theme choices.
As for why there are so many votes allowed, it's because we don't have enough voters.
