The main overall theme for YCW 2k13 is: "Until the end, I'll fight alongside you."
This theme will bring together the 7 basic themes. There will be 7 additional themes as alternate choices that are not necessarily relevant to the main theme.
Yullen Celebration Weeks 2k13 -winter edition- will have many of the same concepts from last year, as well as many more, and a few differences.

Finalized 2k13 Theme: "Until the end, I'll fight alongside you."
You may interpret this theme however you wish, whether it be fluffy or angsty, etc.
The fic/work doesn't even need to relate to the main theme, it can just relate to the individual basic theme.

This overall theme was created in consideration of the more recent chapters of D.Gray-Man, to represent Kanda's resolve. "Until the end" means "until the day I have to kill you", but until that day, Kanda finds himself only wanting to stay with Allen (and the others, but mostly Allen) and fight along his side. He says he will be the one to kill Allen, is even possessive of his right to do so. (Personal headcanon: they have a nonverbal agreement where the promise is that Kanda will be the one to kill Allen.)
--Situation 1: With each passing day, something changes in his relationship with Allen, and his resolve to kill him wavers... He fails to kill Allen, but Kanda manages to reawaken Allen.
--Situation 2: Kanda wavers before being firm in his decision to kill Allen, cue subtle romance, and cue epic "death" scene where Allen "dies" in his arms. In the end, the Innocence only kills the 14th, and not Allen.
--Situation 3: Kanda kills Allen because he loves Allen. He drags Allen to hell with him. Angst, angst everywhere.
Constant reminder: DON'T ONLY WRITE THIS, OR ONLY SUGGEST THEMES WITH THIS IDEA! You could write just a 'until the end of the war' fic or a SNK AU, or a sports tournament AU, for all I care.

I recommend suggesting an overall theme that fits Kanda and Allen's relationship for this year thus far, but that's optional. Also, please avoid suggesting past themes unless there were next to no stories for that theme that year.
There will be 7 basic themes brought together by the main theme, which will be used from every other day starting from Dec. 18th. There will be 7 more alternate themes, which will be used from every other day starting from Dec. 19th, unrelated to the main theme.
Examples for basic theme suggestions: Apocalypse, Synchronicity, Destroyers Who Save, etc.
Examples for additional (alternate) theme suggestions: Resound, Drowning Lotus, Adamantine, Name, Timeless, etc.
The main theme will be used on the main banners, however to avoid having the just same thing over and over again on different pictures, a sub-theme will be used on some of the graphics as well. These phrases should have similar tone and meaning to the main theme, or are just a rephrase.
