Character Selection Problem in Sign-Ups - How to Solve
Sign-ups issue: some characters appear in the tag set, but when you try to select them, your sign-up refuses to save.
Good news:
-this is fixable! If you let us know of affected characters, we can apply a manual work-around
-once each character is fixed, they stay fixed
-this affects a small percentage of characters and does not strike at random. It's difficult for us to comb the tag set to find these characters, but there is a pattern.
If you run into this problem, please tell mods (comment, email)! (If it's your offer, let us know anonymously.) We will create an extra link in the tag set between the fandom and its wayward characters, and you will be able to edit and save your sign-up with all your desired characters.
If we fix a character for you, we're fixing them for everyone. So please do tell us. And - notwithstanding the tradition of last-minute sign-ups - consider signing up before the deadline, so that we can solve problems ahead of time.
