We are 73.5 hours into tag approving and are down to 1955 fandom nominations to sort out of our original 5115.

2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) - As well as Dave Bowman, Frank Poole, and HAL 9000, SAL 9000 is nominated. Nominator, could you please clarify what you meant, as SAL 9000 is not in the 1968 movie?
Boss Baby (2017) - This tag is for the 2017 movie, but the nominated character Bootsy Calico only seems to appear in the spin-off series. Should we approve this as Boss Baby: Back in Business?
La Comédie Humaine - Honoré de Balzac - We're a little stumped by the character Gérard. Is this 1. GÉRARD (Francois-Pascal-Simon, Baron), celebrated painter; 2. GÉRARD, adjutant-general of the Seventy-second demi-brigade, commanded by Hulot; 3. GÉRARD (Gregoire), engineer who later became mayor of Montegnac; or 4. A completely different Gérard?
The Doubtful Guest - Edward Gorey - The Victorian Family is nominated, but seems to include several distinct characters. Could the nominator please separate these out?
Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War - There is a nomination for this fandom label, with characters Arvis, Diadora | Deirdre, Siglud | Sigurd, and Yuria | Julia; there is also a nomination for Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War & Thracia 776, as proposed here, with characters Altena, Brigid, Finn, and Lewyn. Nominator for Genealogy of the Holy War, do you have an opinion on combining this with Thracia 776?
Frozen Planet (2011) RPF - Could the nominator please clarify the nomination of White Penguin? Is there a specific (albino??) penguin with distinct actions?
Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu | Legend of the Galactic Heroes - This has been nominated with characters Julian Mintz, Reinhard von Lohengramm, Siegfried Kircheis, and Yang Wenli. Could the nominator please narrow down which part of the canon they are interested in?
호텔 델루나 | Hotel Del Luna (TV) - For the character of Kim Yoo Na, (spoilers), did you want the original Kim Yoo Na or the character as a body possessed by another character?
Kong: Skull Island (2017) - Kong's Parents are nominated, but as far as we can tell, they do not appear as characters in the film. Nominator, could you please clarify?
Lily's Garden - We can't find the character Karen - could the nominator please confirm?
Oblivion (2013) - Could the nominator please confirm which Jack is meant by Jack Harper (Oblivion)?
Omar Rayyan - Works - This has one character nominated - Fox (Omar Rayyan - Works). We are not willing to approve a visual artist's entire body of work as a fandom this year: could the nominator please suggest a specific painting or named series of paintings?
Se una notte d'inverno un viaggiatore | If on a Winter's Night a Traveller - Italo Calvino - Both Author - Character and Il Lettore | The Reader are nominated. Could we please get confirmation that these are two separate characters?
Smoke Series - Tanya Huff and Blood-Smoke Series - Tanya Huff - Both are nominated: Smoke series with characters Lee Nicholas and Tony Foster, and Blood-Smoke series with characters Henry Fitzroy, Mike Celluci, Tony Foster, and Vicki Nelson. Could the nominators please weigh in on the merits of splitting these into the Smoke trilogy and Blood trilogy, or approving separately? The fandom has generally been nominated as Blood-Smoke in the past.
Sirens (UK) - We're having trouble finding the character The Nester | David. Could the nominator please clarify?
Stumptown (TV) - One of the characters nominated is Original Female Character(s). Yuletide does not allow original characters. Did you want an unnamed character from the show? ALSO - there is a nomination for Dex's Mustang. Could someone familiar with the show clarify how this car is a character?
Tales of the Five Hundred Kingdoms - Mercedes Lackey - We can't find the character Ivan the Fool. Is this Sasha, or a different Ivan? Other characters nominated are Elena, Ekaterina, and Sir George.
バチカン奇跡調査官 | Vatican Kiseki Chousakan | Vatican Miracle Examiner (Anime) - We can't find the character Hiraga Jin. Could the nominator please confirm this?
W.I.T.C.H. - There are two nominations for this tag. Could each nominator please link to your nominations page and choose either the comics or the cartoon?
Where Are You Now Patty - Lenny Green (Song) - The lyrics do not seem to mention any of nominated characters Patty's Mate, Patty's Children, or Patty's Family. Could you please find us a source that mentions these characters? Patty's Family also seems to encompass Patty's Mate and Children - please clarify.
