You can find your assignment by:
- Going to the Yuletide 2016 collection page looking down the left-hand menu, and clicking “My Assignment” (just under “My Sign-up”.
- Accessing it from your profile page. Go to http://archiveofourown/users/YOUR~NAME~HERE and click Assignments on the left hand menu. Or access this directly at http://archiveofourown.org/users/YOUR~NAME~HERE/assignments.
- Checking the email account associated with your AO3 account. There is likely to be a short delay before you receive an email. It may also have been sent to your Spam folder (or Social tab if you use gmail).
Please contact the mods (yuletideadmin@gmail.com) if:
- You cannot find your assignment in any of the places listed above.
- You have your assignment, but you did not offer any of the fandoms in it (check this against your sign-up).

- Your recipient has a placeholder letter, or a locked letter, or you would like to ask them for more information. (See below).
- You have a general question about how to post your assignment or something similar.

More about your assignment
- To fulfil your assignment, you must write one story of 1,000 words or more, in a fandom your recipient requested, and post it to the collection before the deadline.
- You must include all the characters your recipient has selected for a fandom, unless your recipient clearly states that you do not have to.
- You do not have to write a story in the fandom you matched on. You only have to write in a fandom that your recipient requested.
- Optional Details are Optional. Please avoid anything your recipient has listed as a squick/trigger/Do Not Want. Otherwise, you are not bound by their prompts.

Asking for more details through the mods
If you are contacting us about your assignment, please include:
- Your AO3 name
- Your recipient’s AO3 name
- a link to your assignment on AO3 - see http://archiveofourown.org/users/YOUR-NAME-HERE/assignments and find the link to the Yuletide 2016 one
- What information you want, or the question or problem you are asking about - please be specific. For example, people sometimes ask for more prompts about the characters they offered, or want to know if their recipient would like crossovers, or want to know if a recipient has seen or read or played a particular part of canon.
