I know that in the excitement of beating that December 19th deadline, typos occasionally happen even to the most diligent of us. As a professional editor, I figure the least I can do to make sure everyone has a merrily error-free Yuletide is offer my services as an editorial beta-reader, regardless of fandom or rating, free of charge. Obviously, if I don't know your fandom, I can't comment on whether behavior is in-character or a setting detail is wrong, but I can at least let you know if all your apostrophes are in their proper places. I also review porn for AVN, so believe me, there is nothing you can write about that would shock me. *grin*
The best way to send me your story is in an RTF or MS Word attachment to my LJ email address. As long as you get it to me by December 10th, I promise to turn it around to you with my comments by the 15th, which should give you plenty of time to make any changes before Upload Day. Sooner is of course better. *) If I find myself getting overwhelmed, I will note as much on this post.
