Dear Fandom Santa...
I must here admit that I'm easy. There are primarily two things I look for in a fic: humor and smut. If you can write one or the other (Or both!), then you're good to go as far as I'm concerned. That said, here are a couple picky things:
My particular (mostly smutty) dislikes: BDSM (Note that I'm thinking, like, whips and chains and nipple clamps. Somebody getting tied up with somebody else's (f'rinstance) belt or stockings? HOT.), non-con, mpreg, AUs.
My particular (mostly smutty)likes: Witty dialogue! Threesomes! Voyeurism! (...what?) Bathtub sex!
Table or desk sex! Lots of foreplay! (I am an absolute sucker for a slow tease.) Travel fic! Masquerade balls! (YOU CANNOT GO WRONG WITH A MASQUERADE BALL. That is all.)
Notes on specific fandoms: If you're writing for the Lymond Chronicles, please bear in mind that I've only read the first two books, and I'd rather not be spoiled for the rest of the series.
If you're going to write for the Swordspoint series, I would rather see smut with the gentlemen or adventure with the ladies, though vice versa is fine, too.
Anyway, aside from my above-listed dislikes--which I'm afraid are non-negotiable--please please yourself! If you find yourself with an idea that is neither funny nor smutty but won't let you go, go ahead and follow your fish. Thank you very much for volunteering to cater to my twisted fancies!
