I'm excited about going to the ranch tomorrow. I really hope that gardening and farming becomes part of my life and lifestyle.
I'll finally be making money after several months of being helpless to contribute to Phil and I's living expenses. I hope that he'll be able to start saving money like he really wants to and I hope that I will too. I want to save enough money to buy a bike so I will be able to commute via bike rather than car and maybe save money that way too.
We've got options right now. If Phil gets this job and I don't get into the University of Wyoming we might end up sticking around Flagstaff, which I wouldn't mind but might be a good chance to really start stabilizing. Phil has been saying a lot of things that really excite me. He's been talking about us like we have a future. But, we could end up back in Wyoming and try life there. That's another adventure. But we still have so much to explore here in Arizona.
My mother told me that she wants my sister and I to be better friends and think that would be possible if my sister really tried to be a sister to me and not just another person. I'm thinking of asking her to come on a camping trip with me and tell her that she cannot wear make-up or straighten her hair for a couple of days so that she can see what beauty is. Beauty is a whole new thing when you've got messy hair and dirt on your face but a huge smile because the world around you makes the small imperfections in self beauty seem so insignificant.
Hopefully next weekend Phil will go to Sedona with me! Maybe Sunday/ Monday for valentines day?
