second semester of university life is a slight improvement than the previous one, simply because i actually have classes with friends, like marco, sabina, april, and connie. also, some old classmates are in my classes, so it is slightly more enjoyable. all in all, times are getting better and i hope i can find more of my resolve dealing with the utterly depressing atmosphere around here.

downloaded quite a bit over the weekend, part of my scheme to abuse my bandwidth, but turns out i get screwed instead because the transfer rates were so utterly pathetic. watched the usual anime and something chinese for a change: the TVB JSG awards. anyone else watch them? so now for some highlights of this event:

- 'most welcomed female singer' is joey yung
- 'most welcomed male singer' is hacken lee
- 'best song award' - mo lai - ronald cheng
- latin dance with andy lau and joey yung/twins (hahaha, andy lau looks like a pimp!)
- hacken lee announces his marriage!

if you haven't watched it and want to, get the torrent off of me or some other alternative. either way, this event is worth watching, but the emphasis is on andy lau, hacken lee, ronald cheng, kelly chen, joey yung, and some others that won an award for the 'top ten best songs'.

lastly, to end my ride with the asian culture, i started to watch chinese series again, first one in the longest time.
