more for coffin sleep

i have spent several hours watching music videos, and found some good music within my rarely-viewed .rar files. for the past few days, i have lived in a quiet doubles room. although it would seem delightful to have the extra space, truth is i lack more motivation now than before my roommate moved out. the fact it being winter does not help; cold winds and freezing rain and minimal sunlight depresses me.

my eyes upon creases where
sleep is sculpted. today i
missed class because of the
night, a moon suited
for the howls. i am after
all an animal of the dark.
here i am now sipping
cranberry cocktail (it is
my subsitute for alcohol)
and perhaps i can rest
in this wooden chair.
