It was just there at the garden, he was flying his kites up above the blue sky, with a smile across his face. She looked at him from afar. Although she knows that she wouldn’t be spending her entire lifetime being by his side, even if only a second time changed to minute, she knew that she was very happy with everything in the way it is. She smiled to herself.
Suddenly he turned around, facing her with a gaze of those innocent eyes, looking at her truthfully, even though there was some secret hidden, she knew that he would never lie. With his other hand holding the kite’s string, he lifted his right hand, and waved. “Hey Yuki,” he called for her with a precious smile across his face.
Somehow, she began to feel a little odd. Confusion between excitement and... What other thing could it possibly be anyway?
She looked at him, with a smile on her face, “Hello,” she called back for him, with one hand waving back, but the other, was held on her chest. Why is my heart beating fast instantly? She wondered to herself. She felt her pulse was beating rapidly, just like she was running 500 meter in only one minute time. Even though how, she was still walking closer to him, and stop. Why would she stop?
Her mind froze for a few second, wondering still, What am I doing? As she saw him walked closer to her, “Hey,” he greeted her when he stopped next to her, “You’re looking a little giddy,” he smiled, with his free hand, running over his thick dark brown hair, she felt like she was going to faint just right there.
But wait, she couldn’t do that! Wouldn’t it be too obvious if she did? Somehow, without realizing anything, he pinched her nose, “What are you dreaming of now?” he asked her, with the look that she knows, every girls would die for.
She let out another sigh, “Maybe he’s not the right one for me,” she told herself, and got up from her own fantasy.
Picking up the books from the ground, and without noticing anything by her surrounding, she turned around, and accidently hit someone’s shoulder, whom sh at the didn’t realize that he was behind her back. Her books fell down on the ground, “I’m sorry,” she told him when at the same time, trying to pick the books up, but somehow, he leaned down before her, picking it up for her, “It’s okay,” he replied.
She ran her fingers at the side of her ear, pushing her hair a little to the back, just looking at the person in front of her. Somehow, everything started to go, happened just, slow motion. He raised his body up, giving the book to her, “Hey Yuki,” he called for her name, with the most gorgeous smile across his face.
She looked at him. Knowing that nobody would ever understand but somehow, she felt like her world changed the emotion flow, every tick the second had passed. There he was again. Shigeru Souta. Won’t say that he is the gorgeous guy in the universe, but he got the look. Besides, he is just friendly, kind-hearted, responsible, and really supportive man.
The wind blew gently againts her. The soft spring breeze was just peacefully calm. She smiled for a moment, looking at him. After a moment, she decided to look away, knowing that it was wrong to look at him for more than a glimpse of time. She let out a small sigh, still trying to shield away her embarrassing crimson with him. “Thank you,” she a little, while taking back the books from his hand.
Somehow, while the transaction was happening, their hands accidently touch one another. Even if it was just a moment, she still felt his warmth.
She paused her thought for a second as she felt her heart beat began to rush, rapidly. She felt again that her cheek turned a little warm. Am I blushing? She wondered to herself. Why? She asked one more time.
He just smiled to her, “Your cheeks are red,” he told her, with a little touch on her cheek. Her eyes opened wide. What just happened? She bit tongue just a little bit, turning around, at the same time, was grabbing the books with both of her hands, still trying to draw an analogy that nothing is happening, but she knows that somehow, she is dying.
