It was a frightful night. It seemed like she was just all alone in a very quiet, just too grim sight. She peddled her way up Maruyama Lane, Shibuya, and stopped outside the heavy oak door of a place she never been before. The deadly silence and the eerie surrounding frightened her life.
She leaned back to the wall, relieved when she realized that it was just her own. Her imagination. When suddenly, she heard what sounds like footsteps somewhere by her side. Her pulse picks up speed. It’s nothing, she tells herself, I’m imagining things again. She let out a small sigh, knowing that she was just all alone there.
But then the old steel board nearby her creaked once. Twice. She opened her eyes wide. She bit her lips, but without realizing anything, it started to bleeds.
Her heart skips a beat. She was most definitely not alone. Oh God, who could be there with her? She was sure she was there, all by herself. She tried so badly to give herself strength to be strong. Brave. Somehow, the only thing that was running through her mind was fear. She was buried alive in her own imagination.
She heard it again. And again. She eased onto her feet, straining to hear, but her heart pounded too loudly in her ears and she started to breathe a little hoarsely. She tried to kneel down, but accidently ran her arm on a sharp corner of a wooden plank, and it started to bleed. Continuously.
Her eyes jerked to the gilded Oak doors when a gust of wind hurled them open. She was in a complete terror, as she fell down on the ground. When she heard the footsteps walking out from the building she was leaning against few moments ago.
The footsteps are getting closer. Nearer. She felt that her heart started to pumped up, rapidly. Even if it was such a cold night, she felt her sweats started too lingered down her neck. She looked straight at the open door, sitting at the end of the corner, she looked around. She was trapped there. Trapped in her own fear.
She couldn't hold it back any longer, when she suddenly felt her tears ran down her cheeks. She shut her eyes tight. When she strong wind blew passed by her. She still felt the blood from her previous scar still fallen down. Wiping it away, she was still holding back her fear. She was thinking to wipe the blood on her faded blue jeans, when suddenly.
She felt her emotion change. Her world suddenly fell dark, deep down into the tiny hole of nowhere, because she felt a touch, gripping her hand with the intention of wiping the blood away. She felt a soft touch, she let out a small breath, in hoping that she was alright.
Decided to give it a try, she opened her eyes a little. She let out a small sigh again, feeling relieved that it was just her imagination, there was nobody in front of her eyes, when suddenly, she felt that someone was licking her palm that she wiped away her blood. Full of fright, she closed and opened her eyes again when she saw a pair of shining, red eyes, looking straight at her. Gazing deeply into her eyes. As she just fell silent. She was just too terrified to be doing anything. She tried to move a muscle, but sadly, her weight seemed to be just to heavy to even move. She tried to push herself a little to the back, but with the mysterious somebody gripping her hand just too tight, what else can she do.
When her moment of fear somehow grew much stronger, it was mixed up with her feeling of just too uneasy with what was holding her, she decided to pushed him away with her other hand, when he looked at her once again, “Where are you going, my love?” he asked her, somehow, leaving her clueless. Why? And that was the only question that appeared on her mind.
All of a sudden, she opened her eyes wide, with the sound of birds twitching outside her room, she realized, it was just a frightful nightmare. She let out a sigh. She turned to her right, when she saw outside her window, the moon was shining so bright. It was a full moon. She smiled, thinking of how beautiful that night was. But she closed her eyes again, thinking back of whatever she saw a moment ago. Even if it was just a dream, but it seemed like it was very real.
She decided. Maybe she was just to afraid to lose him. But, is she? She bit her lips and covers her face with of her hands. Why am I thinking about him! She grumbled to herself. She closed her eyes.
And again, she saw him standing right there, with the most gorgeous smile. How beautiful he was. She started to wonder why he keeps appearing in her dreams, doesn’t matter when or even how, he was still there. She closed her eyes, trying not to think of what she had saw but somehow, with the grim surrounding, she needs to open her eyes.
She saw him again there, exactly just like in her dream. She felt her pulse started to beat intensively. She looked at him, staring deeply into her eyes while biting his lips, temping her in all possible ways.
She looked away and started to wonder, why she can’t get him off her mind, when suddenly her cat, climb on her shoulder. She smiled, “Honey,” she held him close and caressed his fur. The cat settled down on her lap, and she closed her eyes. Finally, she had her beauty sleep, without him standing right there.
After a few days had passed, the incident that was haunting Miyuki’s thoughts seemed to fades away. But maybe just a little.
She was sitting all alone near by the college garden, thinking of how beautiful everything was at that time. She let out a small sigh, as she decided to lay down for a moment on the beautiful, soft green grass, “Ahh!” she had a little stretch there, and smiled on her own, “How I wish this would never end,” she told to herself. She look at the bright sky up above the world. She closed her eyes. The only person she could think of was just him. But she kept on wondering to herself, why him.
Sho. That is the name that kept on playing in her mind. She closed her eyes, I need to forget him! That was the only she tries to tell herself to do, but somehow, really just failed at doing. She opened her eyes once again, when she remembered back a time, a moment they had with each other.
It was just there at the garden, he was flying his kites up above the blue sky, with a smile across his face. She looked at him from afar. Although she knows that she wouldn’t be spending her entire lifetime being by his side, even if only a second time changed to minute, she knew that she was very happy with everything in the way it is. She smiled to herself.
Suddenly he turned around, facing her with a gaze of those innocent eyes, looking at her truthfully, even though there was some secret hidden, she knew that he would never lie. With his other hand holding the kite’s string, he lifted his right hand, and waved. “Hey Yuki,” he called for her with a precious smile across his face.
Somehow, her emotion started to go upside down. She looked at him, with a smile on her face, “Hello,” she called back for him, with one hand waving back, but the other, was held on her chest. Why is my heart beating fast instantly? She wondered to herself. She felt her pulse was beating rapidly, just like she was running 500 meter in only one minute time. Even though how, she was still walking closer to him, and stop. Why would she stop?
Her mind froze for a few second, wondering still, What am I doing? As she saw him walked closer to her, “Hey,” he greeted her when he stopped next to her, “You’re looking a little giddy,” he smiled, with his free hand, running over his thick dark brown hair, she felt like she was going to faint just right there.
