another karate post
I forgot to tell everyone what i got for christmas!!
I got a fighting fan!!!
It's red with a beautiful dragon on it. (and it makes that lovely "wooosh" noise when you flip it open.)
I am also going to get a kata for it for competitions. the other blackbelt (sempai) also got one too. her's is black. (but mine looks cooler)
i've been carrying it around for days now. (kinda like when i got the jo staff earlier this year and last year when i attempted to learn the sais) i need to keep practicing opening and closing it so i can do it without thinking. i've only dropped it twice - which is much better than that incident with the sais.
but dudes! a fan!!! *squees* i can now whack my friends like Saizo (from Saiyuki).
