Karate Night
well, today was the first day of the changed time for karate. It was kind of strange. I've only been going to karate at 7pm every Tuesday since 1992 and today we started at 6pm. And we're also going back to Thursday night class and cutting the regular Saturday classes. We'll have one occassionally, but not every week.
I made new signs to advertise this in the dojo and one to post in the movie theater downstairs (where our old advertisement is). I had Sensei look at it, he thought it looked good so I put up the one in the dojo. (waiting until after class to put the one in the theater since they would be open then) And guess who can't spell? the Yuki is an idiot! It's spelled "GoshIn Jutsu" not goshEn... duh!!! So i have got to print out new signs.
I also opened my mouth and ask when the annual Christmas Party was going to be.. it's usually in January. Kyoto said tht he didn't know, when would I like it. So i suggested looking when the Chinese New Year fell and we'd have a New Years party. Kyoto thought that was a great idea and suggested that we go around the corner for chinese food instead of the usual pizza we have. That works out great... I won't have to clean up the dojo after the party! No food i teh dojo! woot! go me! I just have to plan teh party.
