Random meme, I commented on Sarah's so I figured I'd make one of my own.

1. Add a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot.

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It’s actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I’ll assume you’re playing the game and I’ll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Anyways. Going to Milwaukee this weekend for time with Peter's family and some random activities. Should be good to get out of the house.

The job hunt is not going so well. I called the Prostaff in Chicago and apparently they do not deal with data entry assignments. That means that I am screwed!

These are my options:
1. Find a new staffng agency. This means starting all over at the bottom of the ladder and taking jobs like "open these envelopes and take the paper out and put it in a pile" for 8 hours a day. This would also mean canceling my current health insurance and going with whatever they have. (This may require working a certain number of hours before you can get on their plan.)

2. Stop dragging my feet and go to school. This seems like possibly my best option. The only thing I'm not sure on is if I should wait until I can actually start school and get a student job or should I still go out and find a job right now and hope they can accommodate a school schedule? Any advice on this one is appreciated, I'm not really sure how this works.

3. Screw finding a new staffing agency and screw going to school, get a random job to pay bills. No forward progress, but money right away. This doesn't seem like a good option to me.

I have plenty of money to sit on until I would start school and find a student job. (Barring some weird disaster) So waiting isn't really an issue. I am thinking I'm going to start school in the fall, wait to get a job until I see what sort of schedule I can manage, and in the meantime do some volunteer work around Chicago. At any rate I have to cancel my health insurance so that is going to suck. I was kind of liking being able to go to the doctor and not paying a billion dollars.

For anyone that doesn't already know, Peter and I have found a really nice apartment several blocks north of where we are now. (Much safer area, and more like a city. This part of town is almost completely under construction, and I believe someone was shot one block down from us in spring/at the beginning of the summer. Eep.) We move in on August 19th and Sarah and TJ have kindly allowed themselves to be drafted into some hard labor and are helping us move while they're here on vacation.

Bad news about the apartment though, only cats are allowed, and that means no sugar gliders yet ;_; have to wait another year...

Alright I'm off to pack. Bye!
