Day 3: 850 words and then a guy at the coffee bar asked me about myself and I freaked the fuck out and could not write any more. Goal not met.

Set myself a lower goal this year for NaNoWriMo since I'm kind of sort of doing job training and trying to get my first couple of sales this November and maybe looking for a seasonal job. Relevance: Our hero is attacked by Octoroks. Our writer is blocked something fierce.

There were samples of sirloin with red-wine-mushroom-demiglace at Central Market, and they had recipe cards for the sauce-- because they were shilling a premade red wine sauce base that the recipe called for.

The sauce base's ingredients list was: red wine, roux, broth chemical coloring and preservatives.
