Siegfried walked to the lobby, but not with his usual long, confident strides. Instead he took short, hasty steps, a slightly haunted look in his teal eyes. Once in the lounge, he sat down, waiting for Pegasus

The silver haired man spotted his guest at once, approaching him with an expression of warmth and heartfelt concern.
"Siegfried my dear, how was your trip? Are you well?"
He came right over and clasped the other mans hand in both his own, smiling his usual dazzling smile, trying to reassure him that everything here was safe and despite the horrible circumstances, somewhat normal.

Strange how the mere aura of the other man made him relax somewhat. Siegfried had a feeling this visit was a very good idea.

The silver haired man asked his guest kindly. He placed a hand on his back to guide him towards the wine and gold colored limo.
Pegasus could feel the troubled emotions in the other and he had already begun trying to balance them. He enclosed the smaller man in his aura, the warm acceptance of a gentle summer breeze lightly swaying through the length of Ziegfreids candy floss hair.
Everything from the mellow orange and spice cologne he wore to the rich soft velvet of his suit was a soothing presence. A convincing illusion of comfort and strength. The younger CEO seemed to need a friend he could rely on very badly. Pegasus careful smile told him clearly he was that person.

He felt much calmer now. Soothed by that warm, kind, friendly presence... it was almost like a miracle. He's been feeling terrible in the last two days, and now in a moment, those bad feelings seemed to ease away somewhat. It felt very nice...

Pegasus told him with unrestrained warmth. They were standing in front of the limo now, the lush velvet interior waiting for them as Croquet held the door open. Pegasus kindly motioned for his troubled young guest to enter first into the spacious interior. They would be in complete privacy during their drive.

"Would you happen to know anything about how... my dear brother died?" He asked softly.

Pegasus allowed his usually proud head to lower at his words, his silver main falling to shadow his face as he looked away slightly. There were so many what ifs, so many things he could have stopped if only someone had said something, thought something in his presence. For all that he could see and feel in others, for all his godlike premonitions and powers, in this one instance where it really would have made a difference he had been completely blind.
"They say it was a suicide...because he fell in love with a young man who was older and already attached. He locked himself in a bathroom and slit his wrists. They also say there were other reasons, ones I don't think it fair to ask you about now."
Pegasus turned a careful eye back towards Siegfried. He didn't seem accusing at all, but his tone was much more sad.

"Leonhart was... not an entirely normal child." He spoke quietly. "I admit that.. his instable emotional condition was my fault as well, but mostly it originates for how our parents neglected him. He has always been craving for attention..."
He fell silent for a while.
"He has been asking me to spend more time with him, but... I ignored it, because I thought he was only... whining. How could I have known? After our parents' passed away, I suddenly got a brother to take care of... I... didn't know how to deal with a child..."

Pegasus told him kindly. He took his hand and gave him a warm squeeze.
"I know what it is to be alone and without family. I lost my younger sister, my parents, even my young bride, all before their time. I often sit and think what if I had done this, or that, what if I had only said something more, or something less. But when I end my thinking, I am still here and they are not. "

Pegasus was trying his best, but he was unsure of what to expect. Everything had suddenly taken a nosedive towards darkness and instability.

Pegasus patted his hand in his most calming manner. There was a certain amount of sincerity there, but also something darker, lurking just beneath the surface.
"I'm sure it's all based on a miscommunication of some sort."
Pegasus nodded his head.
"Neither Kaiba nor Jou speak your native language very well. I'm sure they simply misunderstood some things and overreacted..."
Although he was perfectly fluent in German it was not the easiest language to grasp and perhaps the slang a child like Leon used would be even harder? He wanted to believe the best, he truly did, and yet, he had seen the images in Kaibas mind, the suicide of a young boy. It sent a chill lancing through him even now.
