I'M BACK SUCKAS

So yeah, sorry for the delay. I have some exciting news, but I'll hold it back a little bit to build up suspense.

Oh yeah, and I changed my page theme to black, just to throw you all for a loop.

To Carrie: Sorry I have been not returning your calls. I'm at home whenever you call and I never check my phone when I'm here. That, and Daylight Savings and PMS have seriously messed me up for a few weeks.

I haven't really been up to much. A lot of Super Smash Brothers Brawl, which came out last week or so. I already beat the Subspace Emissary mode (on Normal by myself). My new icon is Lucas from SSBB. He's not the one I use the most (that's Meta Knight) but he's so adorable - more than Ness (who's also from the Mother/Earthbound series). Another favorite is Snake (from the Metal Gear series, of course) but mostly because he's Snake and he looks cool. I don't really use him as much because he's slow, but he does have some pretty mean kicks.

Hmm what else? In TV Land, been watching Lost, Eli Stone, and....Jon & Kate Plus 8! OMG I love that show. The kids are sooooo cute. Lost is getting soooo good and seems to be doing pretty well at making up for season 2 and 3. And Eli Stone isn't the most amazing show ever but I still enjoy it. The visions are funny. And I like Jonny Lee Miller, though I only know him from "Hackers" I hope they follow up on Maggie kissing him at the end of the last episode, because the ex-fiancee annoys me. Oh, I also forgot New Amsterdam. I thought it sounded kinda interesting when it was mentioned for the fall season, but then FOX pushed it back to be a midseason replacement, so I kinda figured it wasn't that great or something. But you know what? It IS pretty good. So FOX, I don't trust your decisions anymore (well...not that I ever really did).

A couple weeks ago when I was here at home, my family and I saw one of those half-hour infomercials for a CD collection, and it was for Time-Life's "Malt Shop Memories" collection. And you know what I discovered? I love oldies. I kinda think it's because there are quite a few 80s movies that kinda brought back the oldies. Like "You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling" in Top Gun and like, Back to the Future had some too. And some other movies set in the 50s or 60s (oh and the Sandlot! One of my favorite childhood movies) which they don't really do anymore now. Oh, so anyways I downloaded the collection. I've never heard of about half of the songs, but that's OK.

I also recently discovered this band, We Are Scientists. I watched the video for their latest single, After Hours, and thought it was terribly cute, and that the song was catchy. Then I had it stuck in my head for a long time. And so now I have their last album (and maybe even the upcoming album *wink*)

Hmm anything else? Not really? No? OK, I guess I'll move onto the news.

First, got my hair cut. It was a while ago, and a bunch of you have already seen it. But yeah. Originally, I wanted to keep it mostly long but definitely trim a good chunk off. But the day before, I kinda changed my mind and the night before, I decided on a "graduated bob", which is a bob where it's long in the front and then gets shorter as you go back. Posh Spice has one, I think. Mine isn't really as crazy as that though. A lot of times, I think it looks too soccer-mom-ish, but overall I am extremely pleased with it.

And for the grand finale: I am licensed!

So yeah. That's all. Bye.
