A VERY long sequence of dreams, split into three parts based on the logical progression of the dreams themselves.
So in the beginning of the dream, i was a girl, but not myself, in the early stages of a FtM transition. Hormones and started to live life as a man, but no surgery or anything yet. I was dating a man who identified as gay, so that made the sex fairly inventive :D
After a little while of the dream moving along these lines, suddenly i was someone else, who was male but beginning an MtF transition.
Confused yet? I was for a minute.
But then it became obvious that i was dating that same guy from above, so yeah. Just kind of went with the flow again BOW CHICKA WOW WOW!
Anyway, i eventually morphed back into the first person, but long before i'd decided on the transition. Or maybe the second, after the transition. Regardless i was mostly female again.
I was working at a surf shop, probably in Hawai'i, with a RL friend whom i shall not identify but who is also, ironically, contemplating a MtF transition, but i'll refer to as he for now since he hasn't started yet formally.
We lived across the bay from the surf shop but did not own a reliable boat, and to drive was several hours. We could either borrow boats or we could take this trebuchet thing across. Seriously, we loaded into a basket container thing with a helmet and straps, and it wound up and tossed us in the basket across the water. MAN what a ride. On the other side it was caught by a sort of lacrosse stick basket thing on a giant tripod tower thing. To return, the basket floated while the trebuchet retracted the cable. It cost $20 for a round trip, but if we both went together for our shifts we could afford it a couple of times a week.
In order to work at this surf shop, we had to be multiracial. No one working there had two parents of identical ethnic ancestry. I had to fib a lot in order to convince them that Lapps were not Caucasian (an old old anthropological theory which has been sadly, genetically disproven) and it was weak, so i wasn't allowed to work with the customers. Which was fine, because it was a great job and all my coworkers were fun and interesting and didn't hold my lack of ethnic diversity against me ;) I knew how to surf, which was it's own fun experience. This time i was dating the EXTREMELY hot guy with one Thai and one Indian parent. Sorry scholar! Dream cheating doesn't count!
:D
And then phase III of the dream i was in my old house trying to pack and prepare for the sale, and i went downstairs to check on the old neighbours (who sold and moved out about a month before i did) and found that part of the chimney had completely collapsed inside their house and their kitchen was in total shambles, full of bricks and plaster. I was panicked! Don't tell my buyers! They'll freak!
(For those unaware, my buyers had issues with the chimney and mortar in the basement, which is condo association property and not unit property, and were a little bit needy during the inspection and closing process.)
The neighbours also revealed they were going through a messy divorce. Their unit was basically in shambles, in a way that would have threatened the structure of the entire building.
At one point, they had in all their neices and nephews to help them move out, and after clearing about 10 swearing, disrespectful and moderately destructive teenagers from the stairway, the youngest nephew proceeded to urinate all over the hallway. Again, i'm freaking because the new owners will smell the urine and refuse to buy, etc etc, so i wisely hosed down the stairwell with about 30 gallons of water. On hardwood floors. But at least the urine was gone?
FINALLY, i ended up going back inside to pack, with something like 2 days remaining and no rental truck since we already had this apartment, right? Turns out there was a hallway off the kitchen with 2 more bedrooms and bathroom FULL of furniture i'd forgotten, and had to somehow figure out how to get out of there in a hurry.
Thank the gods i finally woke up. I was going to give myself a heart attack with this last part of the dream.
At least parts I and II were awesome :)
I blame the cold meds :D
