how picky is picky?
so we are suppossed to be picky with things right? standards? but how picky is normal.
divorce rates make one think super picky is actually the right idea.
i remember like sophomore year where i had a two page list of qualities i wanted in a boyfriend. then i got one and he was maybe like half the things, but at the time i didnt care at all, of course that was later followed with regrets on all my compromises.
how much are you supposed to expect out of someone? i find myself happiest when i'm trying to please and impress, yet never content with the normal. i guess thats a major exageration, im usually content, but theres still doubt every once and a while, wondering about disappointments and settling.
i have high expectations, sometimes it leads to dissappointments, like when i dont get a job, or someone behaves in a way that lets me down, but the expectations create the world around you right? i dont want to be unrealistic, but you know, youve got to aim for the most out of things, its common sense.
