A little aside before I jump into my review. You know you are looking forward to a book when you get it and you start to treat it like Golem treated the Ring in The Lord of the Rings. Now onto The Undying Butterflies:
I enjoyed this volume quite a lot. I found it a bit edgier than the previous one because of the way the murders happened and who was murdered. They struck me more than the people who died in the previous volume, I didn't care for them but I like the people who died in this story. But, more than that, there is a direct tie back to The Legend of Lake Hiren (Vol 6). It had me digging out my copy to look. I was going O_o. And the conclusion makes me think a bit of a soap opera. ^_^
And I'm a sucker for butterflies. What can I say? ^^
