Let's Pretend It's Still Last Thursday
When my brain hatched this idea, CYOA: DWP Style, many months ago, I never thought it would get to this point. And while there wasn't an overwhelming OMG! THIS IS THE MOST AWESOME SHIT I'VE EVER HEARD OF, SIGN ME UP! response, I am confident that the radical folks who did sign up, will make this experiment one to remember. That being said, here's what the calendar for posting looks like:
April 2: in_my_nature
April 9: ashaelia
April 16: OPEN (in_my_nature)
April 23: acceb23
April 30: OPEN, or possibly another lj pal tba (that's you d_i_b!)
May 7: vinjii
May 14: scaryrobot
May 21: OPEN (in_my_nature)

1. You're not happy with your week and want to switch with one of the open weeks.
2. You want to sign up for an extra week.
3. You're reading this and decide you want to get in on the fun.
To clarify how this will work...
I'm working on part one right now. Yes, it has a witch doctor in it. I'm going for a medium crack blend with a wide open range of possibilities for part two. Seriously, I don't think I've been more nervous about trying to get something to be awesome in my entire adult life. Anyhow, I will post it this upcoming Thursday. There will be two possible endings presented. It will be up to the writer of chapter 2, ashaelia, which one she wants to continue and what new elements she would like to introduce into the story.
And that's how it will work. Each new week, the writer will take one ending and bring it to a close. The other ending will continue on and branch off into two new endings. Make sure to include a link to the prior week's chapter. Ideally, once this is over, the reader will be able to smoothly navigate from one chapter to the next.
I think the key thing here is ADVENTURE! This communal urinal process is new to me and while I love CYOA, as I said before, this is an experiment. There may be a better way to do this. There may be a cooler way to do this. So as always, your comments/suggestions/questions/ideas are welcome.
