It's ALIIIIIIIVE!
Over 6 months since my last post. 2010 remained difficult and chaotic. But now, I feel invigorated, and hopeful in the new year. After taking over a year and a half off from the SCA (Pennsic excluded) I am really feeling a renewed interest in the hobby. Part of this stems from really missing the creative outlets and crafting opportunities available. It is only recently that my hands have started to feel well enough to work on projects without significant pain. I have really missed making things.
So, for better or worse, this week I decided to enter K&Q A&S challenge. I know... there are less than 2 weeks left to complete projects, so this might not be a great idea. But I really feel the need to kick start myself and this will provide a personal challenge to complete enough items and put myself back out there. Like most procrastinators, I really need a hard deadline or nothing gets finished.
Anyway, I am looking forward to many more events and hope to reconnect with my SCA friends. I have missed you.
