The March Meta Matters Challenge has concluded for this year. See
my gather post,
my entry under the
first check-in post, and the
final wrapup post. I've archived previous meta and completed a new major piece, along with some other tidbits.

The weather has been variable here. We had several nice days, some cloudy and cool, today we finally got a good soaking rain. Seen at the birdfeeders this week: a flock of mostly
grackles and some
brown-headed cowbirds, a mixed flock of sparrows and house finches, several dark-eyed juncos, a pair of mourning doves, a pair of cardinals, two robins, a male goldfinch, and a fox squirrel. Sedum, garlic chives, hostas, and lilies-of-the-valley are sprouting. Dolgo crabapple and clove currant are leafing out. Crocuses, daffodils, dwarf irises, forsythia, squill, blue grape hyacinths, bluebells, tulips, and serviceberry are blooming. Redbud trees have pink flowerbuds.
