Y'all wanna know something funny?
In roughly 3.5 months I hit my half-century mark. Yes, 50. Yes, I'm that old. Shut it.
That means one thing: party. A very specific kind of party. For years I've been talking about wanting to do a Three Stooges-style pie-fight on my birthday. And, you know, you only get one 50th birthday per lifetime (if you're lucky), so I do believe I need to plan on this. I've never planned my own birthday party before; it's rather exciting and at the same time quite narcissistic. Interesting...
ANYWAY. Just saying, that's all. A good friend reminded me of this fact and I'm... plotting. Hmmm. Agua Caliente Park here in Tucson, on May 28th (Saturday; I mean, the 26th would be nice, but it falls on a Thursday, so no), with a cookout and lots and lots of pies. No banana, no coconut. No wimps.
