^_______________^................ Okay; it's been a long, long week, and today was a long, long day. And at the end of the day, I decided on the way home that a) I needed a haircut and b) I *really* needed a haircut. See, hair's the easiest thing to modify if you feel that you need a change. I've been growing it out with plans to get it really long again eventually, but... heh heh. Well.
...it's really, REALLY short. Really really really. And it looks redder, somehow. Am contemplating a pale streak... You know, there's nothing like going on a trip to see your family to make you consider the fine line between impressing your sister and horrifying your mom. **halo**
Hee hee. Icka said I looked like Julius Caesar, but after I chased her around threatening to put a grocery-bag over her head, I noticed that she stopped. :P I do NOT look like Julius Caesar; rather boyish, yes, but what with having been deboobified this is kind of a given. So there, nyah. **plays with hair** Wow, it's short... Think it's cut in some sort of modified wedge. Coolness; I won't have to fuss with it much at all, which suits me just fine.
Am currently watching the second ep of "Bloodties" and admiring Kyle Schmid, the guy who plays Henry... eye-candy, oh yes. Not a bad series, if a wee bit cheesy now and then; interesting, comparing the Tanya Huff books to the episodes. Can't WAIT 'til they get to the werewolf episodes... please, please, let 'em do them right!
You know, I love my friends... Me, Icka, John, Linda, Sean and Morgan were just sitting around watching this ep and thoughtfully discussing the bit of dialogue about how the Evil Voodoo Priestess was killing children and draining their life-energy; this led to a discussion regarding whether or not children's hearts would be white meat or dark meat-- we decided that it'd be dark; hearts are organ meats, after all. And then Linda piped up "So, who wants hot chocolate?" without a pause... Good company. ^___^
Worked a bit on Windfall again; damn my tendencies towards anal-retentivity-- I'm having to make up dire shitloads of Japanese history here without quite referring to a specific battle, time-period, etc. So far, so good; anybody know if Japan has any pockets of natural gas? **scratches head**
Ooooh, and now we're watching Doctor Who-- 'scuse me, gotta go.......
