As long as you give me guidance, I don't have anything to complain about

What’s up, self? It has been a week with the usual upside-down situation. I’m glad enough that no great mood swing has attacked  me so far. In exchange, I’ve been having a rough morning since last Monday.

I couldn’t get a good sleep. I would have a backache until the morning class ended. I got tired easier. Don’t know if it is because of my sleeping posture or not. I won’t doubt it if my weird dreams turn out to be the biggest cause. I’ll pretend that you know how frustrating it is, feeling mentally exhausted right when you wake up. How do one expect me to have a peaceful slumber when one of the dreams I had recently was about me trapped in a Ju-On-like horror situation?!

I also dreamt about my classmates telling me the reason of why they chose me to make invitations for the lecturers for the upcoming exhibition. Yes, yes, this one was based from my real life. There really will be a small exhibition by the end of this month and I’m indeed chosen to be the one responsible for the invitation.

I have mixed feeling regarding this matter. As a person who is rarely active in whatever kind of organization and committee-heck I’ve never even joined one-I am surprised that they trust this task to me in a sudden. Well, one of these classmates I mentioned before asked me to be a sub-treasurer for an event once. But that one was also happened out of the blue! I mean, if you separate the students in my class into groups, I’m in the group of those people who are not that active with organizations within the department. These classmates who are pretty active in organizations usually don’t expect much from us because of our sort-of-lacking initiative to take part. So, why they choose me now? Not that it’s a bad thing, of course. I feel greatly appreciated, knowing them trusting me to help them solving a problem. But doesn’t this kind of situation make you confused and curious?

I just hope they choose me not because they overestimate me. Just so you guys know, I like writing stories doesn’t mean I have the capability of writing formal letter, so I will need someone else as my backup.

Wait.

I don’t even know what kind of invitation they are talking about! I don’t know if it will be in a form of proposal papers or like those invitation cards for a wedidng ceremony!

What the hell. If the invitation turns out as the latter, it’s equal to digging my own grave! They don’t know I was always close to tears whenever I had to do digital designing and-oh please god not typography I’ve had enough with typography no no not typography please god typography no more!

…gotta ask them about this ambiguous invitation sometimes soon.

About my rough mornings, even though I had reminded myself to go back straight to the boarding house once the class ended and have a good afternoon rest, in the end I would hang out with my friends to some places. I couldn’t help it; best things always come whenever I’m not in a good shape! For instances, well, yesterday and the day before yesterday. Hans and Davies suddenly invited Nadia and I to watch Skyfall at Ciwalk last Tuesday and we stayed at KFC, having late lunch and working on our homeworks, until 6 PM. This afternoon I had lunch at Waroeng Steak with Nadia and Intan, and then I hung out all by myself at McD before I went to Tidar art and design store with Erine, Sairoh, and Dida. We met other classmates there, and since it was already 7 PM when we left the store,  we decided to had a dinner together before we went home (Tandy, Ema, Nea, and Silfa came along. A wai wai dinner with seven other people!). We had dinner at Madtari, an indeed mad place thanks to the merciless amount of shredded cheddar cheese in every menu with cheese in it (I don’t even the cheese in some menu like baso and fried noodle. The cheese surprisingly blended well with the noodle soup). By the time I arrived at my  boarding house, it was 9 PM already.

Whoa, self. You don’t learn at all, do you?

On top of that, I thought I would be a hikikomori for a best rest during this long weekend from Thursday until Sunday. I eventually won’t really have one. Blame Ema and especially Nea for indirectly luring me into joining their plan of a little trip to Mt. Tangkuban Parahu! I could have declined to join in but it has been a long time since I last did nature sight-seeing. I’m kinda sick of building.

I have to leave by 8 AM this morning. It’s already 1.30 AM right now so I better sleep ASAP after I’m done with the memes. Will talk about assignments and fandom on the next post and maybe also the trip if I still have much energy left by then.

¡Buenas noches a todos!
