where the wind comes sweeping down the plain

Well, here I am in Oklahoma. There's not really much to say about this place. It's flat. The dirt is reddish, and that's sort of cool.

Today, Scott and I had lunch at PF Chang's. It was delicious. Tonight we'll have dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. I'm usually not much of a fan of chain restaurants, but since there seems to be a lack of good, locally-owned eateries, I'll make do. Afterwards we're heading to an Oklahoma City gay bar for karaoke. It's called The Boom Boom Room. That makes me laugh...especially when people say it in an Okie accent.

Scott just checked my flights to Manchester (NH), and it looks like they're all full. Ugh. It looks like Thursday might be another full travel day. Ah well...it will be worth it to see Shane. Yesterday, he sent me pics of the place where we'll be living, and it looks very cute, especially considering it's a bunch of young dudes living there.

I suppose I'll go watch some "Vicar of Dibley" with Scott before we head out.
