Austin!
Oh, how I love these long stand-by travel days.
I made it from Seattle to Phoenix with no problem. Actually, the flight was almost totally empty, so that was nice. The connection to Oklahoma City, however, was completely full, so that was a no-go. Thankfully, Scott flew over and met me in Phoenix and we hopped on the next flight to Austin. Now we're waiting for the flight to OKC (via Dallas-Love), which has been delayed until 8:25. At least it's given us some time to step outside, feel the insane Texan heat, and sample some TexMex cuisine (read: nachos).
There's quite a lot of eye candy here, though, I must say. Cute hipsters and metro dudes a-go-go! I'd like to actually hang out in Austin someday. It seems like a pretty hip town. I think I'd probably get heat stroke, though, and that is not cute.
Hmmmm...still three hours left before boarding. Perhaps I'll get some ice cream. Or booze.
