If Sarah Jane Smith was good at anything, it was at being a plucky young girl reporter and gathering the facts of something. In order to make a proper dinner for Casey, that meant she needed to know what she could prepare (that was within the realm of possibility for her talents). Since she really only knew Chuck in relation to Casey, she first went there, smoothing her palms on her vest and knocking on his door, steeling herself for the conversation.
