Summer
Having no summer job is officially awesome...Before I left for St. John I worked for my mom's company at the merchandise mart for a few days and this weekend i'm going to be suffering through the heat working at lollapalooza, but no steady job. This made it possible to go to St. John with Adam and to be going to Japan with Nicky in a week! I'm going to do some more babysitting and promo work before the summer is over, which i have decided is the way to go for me. I can't do regularly scheduled jobs. I am simply too lazy. Having classes and 20 hours of unpaid work a week this coming year will be a huge change for me. I'm so glad I let myself enjoy one last summer. So what if I have no money to go out or buy things... This is where living with my parents is worth it. (Ask me that again most days of the week and you will probably get a different answer). Crossing my fingers i don't die at lollapalooza this week...
And a little blurb on St. John:
There's nothing like being on a beautiful island for your birthday...Activities included, snorkeling (twice following a sea turtle), scuba diving (almost stepping on a giant sting ray and kicking a baracuda), going out onto a boat to the british virgin islands and having it break down fairly fair off st. john shore (leading us to have to swim to shore and me being stung by a small jelly fish and having my left leg paralyzed most of the way), eating delicious food, laying on the beach, watching arrested development every night before bed, watching adam's mom and family friends smoke a tooon of pot (not so fun), and meeting my very very favoritist football player, Jason Taylor, at the st. thomas airport. 5 days was not a long enough trip...
And an oldie but goodie i just got off adam's computer
