So I've been thinking lately about the way that a majority of people seem to be treating others these days. It seems as if selfish intentions are prominent. I'm not saying that we are not all entitled to look out for ourselves and our own wants/needs, but shouldn't our goal be to achieve an adequate balance between helping others and ourselves? Something someone else wants may cause you a small inconvenience or deviation from plans, but it seems like that should be worth it if it will truly make that person happy. I feel like a lot of people are demanding so much from others without demanding the same things for themselves. Support should work both ways. This sounds really cliche and stupid, but I don't care. Apparently it's a difficult concept to grasp...
And then there are the truly heinous people...being mean for the sake of being mean and getting attention. That's just sad.

Where have all the good people gone?
(Not to be confused with where have all the cowboys gone by Paula Cole)
